The property could be great with some renovation. It smells like old wet, musky carpet that’s been perfumed. The smell caused horrible headache.

Beautiful area and the staff was great. I wish they would do a couple things to improve the rooms but it was a great experience

In years past this was a decent hotel. However, today it is terrible, dirty, surly staff. Filthy carpets. It needs a complete overhaul.

This is an old building that has not been maintained. Zero amenities in room (1/2 small, pre-used bottle of shampoo). Broken bottom drawer on dresser. Thermostat did not work for heat. Manager told us he would bring up a "heating pad", which did not happen. No extra blankets. Mattress cratered. Linens old and nasty looking.

This lodge is very dated. It’s quite old and has hardly any amenities. They didn’t have any food or so they said. Then they decided to make us a BLT minus the L but for the full price. This place is super expensive for how old it is and no more than you get.

It was OK other than every time someone else ran their water You could hear an annoying, high-pitched, squealing noise. King size bed was comfortable, but only two pillows. Fairly thin walls and pretty noisy.

We liked the area and the hotel was nice and clean but the walls were very thin. Our bed made a lot of crinkle noises when we moved which would wake the other person up. The person who greeted us was very helpful during our check in.

Old run down hotel, garbage bins over flowing absolutely terrible WiFi - will not stay again.

2/10 Poor

There was a dirty towel on our sink when we walked in. Trash and dust all over the carpets. Pillows so bad I had to roll up my clothes to use with it because it was so flat, window so dirty we couldn’t even see thru it, there was about a 4” gap under our door with the hallway light on all night that lit up the room. Completely disgusting.

First of all, the internet service non-existent even though it is advertised as having internet. We had to ask for a hair dryer. Only two washcloths for 3 people and towels were very thin and ratty. There was a phone in the room but was not hooked up or even a cord. Must have been just for decor. In the morning at checkout, the individual could not speak English or seemed to understand English. When I ask for a receipt, he shook his head no. I ask if he understood, and he shook his head again. When we ask to use the restroom downstairs before heading out, he said NO! Mattress was lumpy and very uncomfortable

2/10 Poor

No service at counter, attendant sleeping in chair behind counter. We had to find an employee in the lounge to check us in after waiting. Baseboard heating cover fallen off onto the floor, dents in the wall, blood stain on pillowcase, shelving stained, old, damaged furniture. The hotel smelled terrible. Carpet dirty in main areas. Would never recommend to anyone.

10/10 Exceptional

we stayed in many places around the park, from Jackson to West to Red Lodge, and this by far was our favorite and most comfortable. The owner called me by name every time we met. The bed was the most comfortable of all the places during our 4 day adventure. Its cost, rustic feel was perfect. A storm rolled in and the whole town lost power but it was remedied quickly by him turning on their generator to ensure we had a safe accessible evening. Fresh coffee in the morning for our morning wolf watching before sunset. I will always stay here!!
