We really loved Bologna! Very walkable. The shopping area was lively and beautifully decorated for Christmas. Lots of high end shopping, and the food market area was amazing. Bologna was big enough to keep us busy, but small enough to not overwhelm.

Love, love Bologna!! This is my second trip and I will be back again. Small city with tons of charms. Old architectures, great food markets, lively vibes. The size made it perfect to navigate for family with young children or elderly.

I have been about five times and would return again. It's such an easy, safe walkable town. The train station has great connections to get you around the country too. We took a day trip to Florence, half hour on the train.

Beautiful medieval city that is well worth visiting for the history and buildings alone. Can get very busy though and restaurants are always full. There is plenty to see and do for a short 2/3 day stay.

Beautiful , safe city with great history and wonderful reasonable priced Cafes and restaurants.
"We had a triple prestige room for my wife, daughter (15) and myself. There was ample space and the beds were comfy.
The included breakfast was very good, but it didget busy towards the end of service.
The pool is amazing being Olympic size. You do have to pay for the sunbeds and umbrellas, but that does mean they are available and not just covered in towels from 7am. But if you are planning several days around the pool the costs will mount up.
The hotel is a little bit out of the city centre and a taxi will cost about €25 each way. There is a bus but it takes over an hour. Best to have a car."
"Overall this was a very nice hotel and we had a pleasant stay. Every staff member that we spoke to was very nice and helpful with any question that we had. They all spoke very good English and were polite with my terrible Italian. :)
Raquela at the front tlesk in the mornings had AMAZING restaurant recommendations. Marissa, at the front desk in the evenings, was not only nice and helpful but also remembered my wife and I by name after only one day.
While the first room we received had an air conditioning unit that did not work and needed some repairs, the staff was quick to send someone to check it out and then quick to give us a different room.
I will personally plan to stay here on my next visit to Bologna."
"Loved the hotel, room was super spacious, bed was very comfortable, the temperature of the room was great.
Loved the TV casting.
Hotel was easy to find, easy parking, walkable to the core. "
