Beautiful island of Hvar with lots to do! The 35-mile ebike ride was a highlight for us! We also enjoyed staying just outside of the hustle and bustle of downtown Hvar for a relaxing experience, just what we were looking for.

A beautiful port and city area with great food and nightlife. Bring cash, not everywhere allows card payment and the exchange rate on the ATM's is poor and incurs a €5 transaction fee

If you hate wannabe influencers that spend hours taking photoshoots and tiktoks in an attempt to exaggerate their lifestyle then never go to Hvar, it is full of some of the worst people out there. Lovely island though.

Highly recommend Hvar as a stop in Croatia. Beautiful area and location.
"We enjoyed our stay at Podestine. The staff were friendly. Being near the sea was brilliant. However, I'd advise sea shoes due to sea urchins nearby (our son stepped on one and needed to have them removed). The rooms were okay, but the hotel was a bit dated. But it lived up to the 4-star rating. The bedding could have been better as the duvets/sheets were too small for the beds (no overhang). The breakfast choices were fine, but the coffee machine was broken (it is worth removing that, as a few reviewers had also commented). Dinner at the restaurant was not as good as eating out - it doesn't come close to some of the options, but it is pricey. This is a solid hotel, we would stay again, but probably use the mini-bar and hotel beach bar much less, as prices were high and do not show on the receipt at the end of each day, so that can be a bit of a shock to the system. Overall, it is a good base from which to either launch out and explore Hvar, or to chill by the sea in relative peace and quiet. "
"We loved it here and wish we had stayed longer!
Lovely rooms, the ground floor terrace was a great touch considering we had no balcony.
Breakfast was amazing with lots of options. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming.
Service can be a bit slow if you arrive past 9:30am, before then is great. Dinner was tasty too. Location is perfect and views spectacular.
The pool and sunbathing facilities are lovely. A wonderful place to unwind. The hot tub was empty when we went to visit and could really only fit one or two people in but this didn’t bother us.
A drink on the rooftop bar is a great place to relax or socialise. We did this a few times before and after dinner. Service attentive.
Massage prices are extreme which was a bit disappointing as an avid ‘spa goer’ but this isn’t a service you have to use.
Highly recommend a stay at the Adriana if travelling to Hvar island! "
"I was honestly surprised at how much I enjoyed my stay here, especially after seeing some older mixed reviews. It’s clear that Andreas has really improved the place — the room was spotless, well-maintained, and felt very welcoming.
The location couldn’t be better — just a short walk from Hvar pier, which made exploring the town so easy. Andreas greeted me warmly, made me feel at home right away, and gave fantastic local recommendations that helped me experience Hvar like a local.
My stay was nothing short of excellent, and I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!"
"The hotel is right turning the beach and walkable to restaurants. Hotel staff friendly and speak English - nothing was too much drama. Hvar is a 15 min taxi ride and the hotel have a deal with a company 18euro one way and very accessible. "
