Hire a car if you want to do lots buses are hourly. You can walk to St Michael's Mount when the tide is out 3 pm at the moment otherwise the boats will take you across for a fee. The people are very friendly and great place for families. Beaches 8

"Loafs" for the best pasty I've ever had! And I've had a few in my 21 years in Cornwall. Thin glazed flaky pastry, stacked with juicy steak, very tasty and filling. None of it was left. Delish. 10/10.

Great area a bit of homelessness and seediness going on but no one bothered us. Lots of restaurants have closed down according to one proprietor. We walked on main road to Mousehole which was cute but not a lot there. Went more for the walk/exercise.

It has changed so much since I was a girl there but plenty to do. You do need to be able to walk distances as all parking is out of town

The Mount is just a short drive away. We were able to walk to it because the tide was out which was brilliant!
