Went to Didcot then to Abingdon. Along with my wife l really enjoyed Abingdon with the market and the warmth of the whole town. The museum was great and Guildhall etc. Worth the visit. Had a lovely feel to it.

We enjoyed visiting the nearby Harcourt Arboretum where the bluebells and rhododendrons were in full bloom and peacocks were everywhere.

Abingdon has more to offer than is immediately obvious. It is worth stopping and looking around. It is also well placed for access to surrounding areas, may of which are of interest.

Lovely town, worth a visit, but a fair walk from the hotel (25 minutes)
"I would recommend the Hotel it was an excellent place to stay. The bedroom was comfortable the bathroom had good quality shower products. The Breakfast room had plenty of space between diners tables and a good choice of attractively displayed food. A member of the Reception staff offered to carry carried the luggage to our room which was appreciated as my husband uses a walking stick."
"Just back from an overnight stay and I must say what a super place the Oxford Belfry was! I was staying with my daughter and two grandchildren. They gave us a suite with separate bedrooms which was fantastic. Huge rooms with double basin shower room plus a separate toilet and basin. Loads of space to put belongings. Very clean, very comfortable beds, complimentary water and tea/coffee (machine with pods), bath robes too.
Staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was great - easy flowing layout, good selection of hot and cold, it was great."
"The room was perfect for me and had one of the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve ever slept in. The staff were excellent - friendly and helpful at all times. I had both dinner (click and collect) and breakfast (eat in) at the diner and the food was fantastic. "
