LaPaz is a charming town with lots of cute shops and restaurants. We did a day trip to swim with Sea Lions at Isla Espiritu Santa with Mexican Travel adventures. We also did a hike to balandra beach with a guide: amazingly beautiful area.

First time Visiting La Paz and we will definitely be back. Took a boat ride to see the whale sharks because the gray whales had left the area and it was awesome. Definitely recommend you do that when they're in the bay.

La Paz is not Cabo San Lucas and that is a good thing. In La Paz you experience the true culture of Mexico without the big all-inclusive resorts, crowds and noise.

Shop before buying whale-shark snorkel excursion. Our 2-hour tour turned bad - 20 people overloaded panga, engine broke down, no snacks/ little water; snorkel gear broken, nearly capsized - scary; lucky returned in 4 hours as passenger was mechanic.

Tourists transportation is located on the Malecón. This is an affordable way to get to any one of the precious Bahia's that we all travel to La Paz to visit.

We enjoyed La Paz more than Los Cabos. Everything was cheaper, the people were friendlier, and the food was better
"The hotel was excellent. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The hotel is in a great location, walking distance to everything (malecon/boardwalk, stores, restaurants). Having the free breakfast option was great as we had booked some tours and having had breakfast was very convenient for us. The Rooftop pool and bar were amazing and the ambiance was good! "
