If you're in need of a little walk to stretch your legs once you arrive in Escanaba, do check out the city park. It's on the water near the marina. There is an historic lighthouse on the grounds and adequate sidewalks for walking.

It's a nice town. You can tell it's kind of cut off from the rest of society in certain ways, but it's nice

I love the great north! Golfing, fishing, dining and a little gambling and fun.
"Clean, simple and nice people. Walk to dinner. Grocery across the street. Pictured rocks and ferry to Grand Island are minutes away. Rooms are large. We appreciated the in room fridge and microwave. "
"Nice hotel, we stayed on the street side of the “tower” it can be a little noisy during the early morning hours so I would recommend the lake side for a more peaceful sleep. The rooms in the tower are quite spacious. All in all a good experience. I would happily return. "
