Daytona has really stepped up its game! A few years ago, we switched to Cocoa Beach because Daytona had gone downhill. But I have to say, I was impressed on this visit. The area is much more developed now, and the beach was clean and inviting.

Daytona Beach is tired but there are a lot of new buildings going up so it is starting to look fresher along the coastline. We were there for bike week so it was mad but super fun with some really good places to eat e.g. Riptides and Delmare.

First time taking my son to Daytona. We toured the speedway and he absolutely loved it. My son isn't a beach going fella but he did like the beach and he wants to come back so I can teach him boogie boarding.

Lovely Jackie Robinson ballpark on an island. Terrific riverwalk. Good reuse of Kress building. Lot of attention to its downtown.

We love Daytona. We came for bike week but stayed on after the event as we also like it when it is much quieter.

If you have small children just know this area is where they can drive on the beach. A lot of people weren't watching there children and they were running in front of cars. I don't have small children but was nervous watching these kids.

Sad to see many abandoned buildings, closed businesses, and slow commercial activities. The beach is beautiful, and the people are VERY friendly. Visit Daytona Beach.
