Detroit is really improving every time we visit. We loved the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, Art Museum, Historical Museum, Motown Museum, and the transportation is great riding the Q-Line into the downtown. The food has been good every place we ate.

Corktown is a fun place for food & beverages not too far from the hotel. The people mover and Q line are free modes of transportation around downtown, which is awesome. Would definitely recommend the Henry Ford Innovation Center & Motown Museum.

Downtown Detroit has come along way since I was a child. The main strip of Woodward is vibrant and full of life. We were here at Christmas time, and they really go above and beyond with Campus Martius for things to do for couples and families.

Detroit went through a lot, but the Renaissance that people are speaking of, is really happening. Go check out downtown for yourself. From high rises (including the first new project in decades) to cultural and art scene, it's happening.

Detroit has plenty of casinos, shops, and bars for anyone. Corktown is a beautiful area not far from the bustle of the sports arenas and theaters. Grandma Bob's pizza was a great little surprise nearby for Detroit style pizza.

Get to the riverfront walk if you have time to wander. Some of the parks are really lovely and interesting. The city has a little grittiness, with people willing to engage if you give them a chance.
"Nice hotel, very close to big venues/sports fields/entertainment. Parking is confusing, however not the hotels fault just lots of construction. Love that valet was includes with stay!"
"I go to Detroit 2-3 times a year and usually try to stay in different places. Well no more! This hotel is awesome, albeit a little expensive, you get what you pay for. Staff and valets are great and very helpful with anything. The bar and restaurant was also amazing. One note, it's a little pricey but a great stay. If I'm downtown I'm staying here again"
"Our stay was really great. Our porter Anthony fantastic, giving a High Five for his service. A real keeper. The hotel is clean and quiet for its size and the overall activity being and casino. "
