North Charleston has a lot of great features but this area is one of the more dangerous areas. Regular shootings at Northwoods Mall, lots of homeless folks struggling to find a place to rest, etc.

Charleston is one of my favorite places. We booked here for the easy access to down town & Folley Beach. John Kings dueling piano bar & Folley Beach are must sees while staying here.

There are many choices to eat... not so many ma & pa restaurants though. I recommend Ye Old Fashioned Ice Cream and Sandwich for lunch!
"Oh my word. Where do I begin? As soon as we walked in, we were greeted. They quickly got my room keys and told us about the freebies. The lobby was beautiful! The staff was nicely dressed and so sweet and helpful. We got to our rooms, and they were perfect. Everything was VERY clean! The bed was comfy. The WiFi was easy to hook up. The bathroom was beautiful. Everything was so nice! I have absolutely NO complaints. We were only able to stay one night, just coming into town for my nephew’s graduation from Nuke school. They let us extend our check out til noon so we could come back after graduation and change. No extra charge! If you are in this area, STAY HERE!! Thank you to the staff and the owners. ❤️ 10/10!! "
