"The property itself is quite nice and we appreciated the continental breakfast (homemade buns, sandwich meat & cheese, butter, jam, juice). Staff were also very friendly and nice. The only downside is the room we booked in the basement was smaller than expected and a bit stuffy since there's no ventilation. Other rooms might be a bit more spacious. Was adequate for one night. "To call this a hotel is a stretch, its more like a guesthouse. No reception on arrival, even though published as open to 6pm (which says it all!!). Restaurant not open on arrival Sunday evening, which I was awre of, but to be told Monday evening there is only one choice of meal......this is not a Restaurant! Like others, I think this is an over priced 'guesthouse' for what it offers, even the breakfast was very basic for the overall cost. The only positive comment I could make is that there was a fan in the room to provide some cooling."
