I was able to message through WhatsApp the morning of our arrival and they kindly arranged for a taxi to meet us at the airport with a sign to get us to the hotel. The breakfast the next morning was fantastic and the hospitality of the owners was unparalleled. Recommended for a quick stay or a longer stay to explore Tirana. Wish we had more time!"

"We had a great time at Te Gjyshi. Located right by the fort and owned by the restaurant, with the same name, that has a long history of serving guests in Berat. The place was newly renovated and the views were better than shown in the pictures. Restaurant served delicious Albanian cuisine and you received a discount for being a hotel guest. For breakfast you didnt get a choice to choose qhat you would like but what they served was again delicious. We especially loved how close we were to the fortress, and the old town was a short distance down hill. Going uphill after a day of exploring is a bit of a work out but manageable. Overall, loved our stay here and would definitely come back. "
