"Very short overnight stay, wish we had time to stay longer and make use of the food options. It was very cosy, beds were excellent and very spacious. Parking was easy and felt safe and quiet. Would definitely return. Good value."
"We stayed here for 2 nights for a wedding nearby. I usually expect pub rooms to be a bit hodge podge, but the sawmills were very hotel-esque. Done to a very nice finish. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was amazing, full gastro pub with well thought flavours and good quality ingredients "
"Beds were very comfy and the food was good. I had an omelette which was delicious with cheese, bacon and mushroom served with an english muffin. Lots of cereal to choose from and croissants. "
"It was relaxing and very quiet. The meals in the inn were amazing especially the scrambled egg in morning. Everyone was friendly and polite. A really amazing place for rest and relaxation. "
"Lovely quirky hotel. Staff were fab. Food was lovely and best mussels I’ve had, beating many good French restaurants.
Bed was slightly uncomfortable as sloping a bit one way and a pillow menu would be good as I prefer really soft down ones. Good hot showers and loved the windows opening wide as sleep with fresh air even in winter so suited us well.
Loved the lounge to sit in quietly as well on a drizzly day. 10/10"
