We loved the general ambiance of the area; very relaxed & felt very safe. The only slight annoyance was the constantly crowing roosters but they're everywhere in Barbados and you get used to them. Overall it's a great place to stay & we're returning

We vacation in Barbados every year at St. Lawrence Gap. The people are friendly and lots of dining options. Charles water sports at Dover Beach is the best! Cocktail Kitchen and Cafe Sol are our favourite restaurants. Looking forward to next year!

My biggest tip would be to book tables for dinner in advance as we did have trouble trying to get a table in any of the restaurants between 6-9pm at night, most offered a wait for 1+ hour

"I love the friendly staff, and how attentive the staff is to your needs.The place is very clean,very beautiful.The rooms are clean and cold,the pools are lovely n relaxing. The food and drinks are out of this world.I took my daughter there from 2nd August til the 3rd, and she love it soon much that she is thinking about spending her birthday at Wyndham Sam Lord Castle between 05 December.And l will be back next year. All l am say Wyndham Sam Lord Castle is the BEST HOTEL IN THE WORLD."
