Good
It's a typical seaside town with amusements if you want them and a town centre with a good variety of shops and restaurants. Lots of nightclubs nearby.

Good
Some properties away from the seafront look rundown and derelict. Apart from that, Clacton is a nice beach town, especially in the summer.

Did not see much as I was only there for one night but it so qite and friendly place and a relaxing coast so I will be returning. Have many memories with my children when they were young visiting Clacton.

Consistently cheaper fuel, Town itself a little run down but pleasant promenade.
"Great hotel: nice and very clean room. Good parking facilities. Excellent breakfast: full English Breakfast (buffet) and various fruit, bread, etc. Nice Health Club with excellent swimming pool."
"As a first time user, pleasantly surprised with the quality and convenience of this Easy hotel. Will definitely use again when next visiting Ipswich. We chose a room with a window (frosted glass), so can't comment on how it would feel if windowless. Room compact and fine for a short stay (we stayed 2 nights). Good temperature control. Lots of breakfast options nearby, so the fact that this is not provided is not problematic. "
"I had forgotten to book the hotel I planned to stay in, and so had to quickly find a replacement on the day as where I was planning to stay wasn't available.
What a result, this was half the price, incredible value, a decent breakfast for the price, and it was honestly faultless. The room was amazingly comfortable and spotlessly clean and I will definitely stay again. For a one night stay on business it was very good indeed. "
"We booked a Double Ensuite Room. On arrival our room was the family room. Wow what a massive room. It had 3 beds. Lovely fresh looking room, so clean. Beds were comfortable. Shower had great pressure and water was hot.
We also booked a twin room. This too was lovely and clean. Had a kettle, teas and coffees for use, as did the Double Room.
Pauline & Dave were brilliant hosts. Nothing was too much if you requested anything. You could tell that they had been hosts for a long time.
Breakfast was choosen by yourself, ticked off your prefered items on a list. Presentation was appetising. More toast, tea or coffee was not a
problem.
I would highly reccommend you stay at the Adelaide Guest House for a welcoming homely stay.
I definitely will be staying here on my next visit to Clacton On Sea.
Thank You Dave & Pauline for a lovely stay"
"What an amazing, reasonably priced and idealistic hotel!
With breakfast included, it was worth returning again and we shall do.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Highly recommended."
