"The hotel lobby, was amazing, the elevators are unique… but the rooms need to renovate, the drywall paper is coming apart in the whole room including the bathrooms, and housekeeping was the worse, never clean our room in 3 nights 4 days of stay. Very disappoint in that particular area. The rest was excellent, very nice hotel staff from the greeter thru the lobby employees !"

"Elizabeth at check in was amazing! Went out of her way to get our bridal dress shopping group of ladies adjoining rooms - which made our weekend extra special. Benjamin the doorman was so sweet & caring - very welcoming when we returned from our outings. Loved talking with him. He is a true peope person who makes you feel looked after."

"The location of this hotel is outstanding. A quick four block walk to the train stations, including all the "L" lines. So close to State and Michigan Ave as well. The bed was completely comfortable and the room was well maintained. I am not a coffee drinker, but there is no coffee in the rooms itself, but they serve it complimentary in the lobby area each morning. The bar was great, with a pleasant bartender. I would definitely stay there again. "

"Very happy with the hotel and location. We had a double room with two bathrooms. I’ll never understand hotels using full size beds when there’s plenty of room for a queen. The room was large enough to accommodate bigger beds. Luckily it was just me and my 6 year old for this trip so it was great. The hotel offered some nice amenities that we unfortunately didn’t have time to use. The second bathroom was a nice perk of the room. The beds were comfortable enough. Not too hard and not too springy. The hotel is lovely. Beautiful old architecture and the lobby is stunning! "

"Loved the lake view. The suite setup was nice, and I appreciated the mini kitchen with micro, fridge and sink (though fridge and micro were in a very low cabinet and a little awkward to reach. Location was excellent. A very good value for all of these good things. Two areas for improvement: staff up a bit so check in, check out, and bell service is faster. And stock that coffee station with a few more napkins. Good experience overall!"

"Hotel is in one of the best locations in downtown Chicago, fantastic views of the city, riverwalk, opposite the Wrigley Building. Amazing roof top bar which as a guest there was front of queue entry. Rooms were serviced every day, lovely comfortable large bed, nespresso coffee machine, magnifying mirror (a must for makeup!!) good shower, everything you need. Can’t comment on food as we didn’t eat here. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel if visiting Chicago, we walked everywhere as we like to see everything and the position is very central to all the tourist attractions, bang opposite the main riverboat excursions, we used the ‘L’ once for Wrigley Field. "
