Reel in a trophy halibut or salmon on a charter fishing trip in Kachemak Bay's pristine waters. Kayak among sea otters and puffins, then warm up with local craft beers at harbourside breweries.
Take a ferry to Halibut Cove. A little pricey but food is amazing, darling coffee shoppe, small artsy shoppes, a boardwalk to the ismuth...just an incredible experience!!! Shout out to the Danny J ferry gals! Super fun afternoon!

We enjoyed Homer. It's a cute little fishing town. As with everywhere these days, it was overcrowded with people, which makes it difficult sometimes to do the things you want to do. If you go, expect to be with a lot of other people, but still go.

Beautiful little fishing town. Great beach at The Spit area. I had dinner at Pattie's, the food ordered was NOT very good. They ruined a fresh salmon with some weird bread crumble, plus had to take a pill to ease stomach ache. Would NOT recommend
