It's a tourist town. There is construction going on, which is inconvenient, but necessary. There are lots of people around on the weekends. The hometown folks make you feel welcome.

I went to school and worked in San Marcos for eight years, visiting Wimberley regularly. It has grown some for sure since I lived in the area although has that great country town feel to it. The wild beautiful land is nice trip to Austin.

Wimberley is a charming town. There's so much to do, so we will be back to check it out.
"This hotel was a great stay for my family of four visiting the town of Wimberley. The room was renovated and clean and the beds were very comfortable. The town is maybe one minute away by car, you could even walk if you wanted. I also recommend hanging by their pool and maybe going to the Blue Hole for the day. With your stay, you also have access to 7A Ranch. There they have river access and a fun pioneer town that is great for a family with small kids. This was a fun family trip, but would also be great for a girls weekend."
"Loved the convenience of the contact-less check in. So wonderfully close to Wimberley and everything else Hill Country has to offer. Pool was also great! Oh, and the bed is super comfy. I will definitely book here again. "
