Calistoga is a quaint little town with wonderful restaurants, bars, wineries, shopping and only a short drive from downtown St Helena for more of the same. Loved it!

We love coming to Calistoga to visit wine country! It's much less pretentious than Napa and you get more of a small town feel.

Calistoga is in the Napa Valley. The valley seems to be about 4-5 miles, so the whole area has an intimate feeling. There are a gazillion wineries, and the landscape is full of vineyards. It is one of California's treasures.

A gem of a town that feels less snobby than other places. Good restaurants, a bookstore and a Pilates studio. What more do you need!?

Hit up Romeo for a wine tasting if you have $60.00. The wines are pricey compared to Sonoma or Mendocino County, but are on point for the quality and what you would pay in Napa. Besides, the staff are friendly and the wine is amazing.
"This is our go-to spot, when we stay in the Napa area. I love the location, tucked into a quiet neighborhood off the main drag, with easy walking access. The staff is welcoming and incredibly helpful! The pools snd grounds are immaculate, and a great place to hang out after a day of wine tasting! "
"Second time staying here in 3 years. Very quiet and cozy, love the fresh breakfast basket each morning. Could use some updated chairs inside, but still enjoyed the stay."
"Took my daughters for a quick trip before school started. The staff was very nice, went out of their way to make our stay special.
Nothing super fancy but The pools were fun and the grounds were nice. We’ll be back!"
