We stayed in a king studio. It fit our family of 3 perfectly. It was clean. The pool and exercise rooms were great. The breakfast fueled us for our days. They even has complimentary laundry facilities. We will stay there again!

Overnight is Charlottesville
Great hotel if you have an overnight in Charlottesville. It’s close to the airport and offers shuttle service and free breakfast.

Stay soured by housekeeping trying to enter room
Was impressed by the size of my room and cleanliness of everything. Breakfast was great but seemed to be on a 2 day variety schedule. But to have housekeeping try to enter my room while “do not disturb” signs were posted on the door ruined my security during my stay. What would have happened if I wasn’t in my room and left valuables or cash out or left my pet in the room while going sightseeing? If I travel to Charlottesville again I would stay at a different hotel due to this last experience.

Great stay…until housekeeping soured it
Housekeeping may enter your room whenever you aren’t in the room. I specifically stated I did not need or want housekeeping as I have a pet with me. I was advised by different front desk members housekeeping is “only available upon request.” 2 times in less than a week I had a knock on the door and if I wouldn’t have answered housekeeping was going to enter my room. They would knock a 2nd time and announce themselves and would start to open the door. They stopped when I advised I didn’t need housekeeping or asked what are they doing. Having a pet this is concerning. Once the housekeeping situation entering rooms, when they aren’t supposed to, gets resolved I would raise my star level to a 5. It’s unfortunate as every other aspect of my stay was great.

Don’t Bother because they don’t
Specifically booked this hotel for airport shuttle- when I arrived at 8pm, but not helped until 8:05, I was told the shuttle was only 8-8. Had this been noted on the website or the airport signage for the hotel, I would have scheduled my car return for 745pm so I could get the last shuttle to the hotel. Instead I paid $15 for a Lyft for less than a mile because it was safer than walking in the dark.
The evening desk attendant did not greet me and told me to “hang on a min” while she finished something else (hence the 5min wait) and the morning attendant was not much better- we had to ask if breakfast was included, which was nice but there were egg/omelette toppings, but no eggs…?
The shampoo and conditioner contents were switched and the lighting was muted making getting ready difficult.

Housekeeping may enter room even if not requested.
Charged me 5 times as much for incidental’s than when I first checked in this stay. Front desk stated housekeeping will only enter your room if requested. That is exactly what I wanted having a pet in my room. Around 11am on a Thursday, while watching TV, I heard a knock on my door. Surprised, I didn’t say anything. After the 2nd knock the person stated “house keeping” and started to open the door. Having a pet it was really concerning knowing even thou I was assured no one would enter the room that that was not the case.

Great place to stay!
Room was clean and condo. We were able to get in a little early but ended up having to switch rooms due to a crying pet. Moved to a nicer room and enjoyed our stay!

Good hotel with some quirks
Rooms are great and updated. Really clean hotel. Breakfast service and selections need to improve. Numerous days had no knives or drinks (apple juice/orange juice) Not everyone drinks coffee or wants soda/water with breakfast. Management should hire more people or atleast have the bare minimums available to guests.

Great hotel!
Great overall stay. Only complaints would be with other guests, allowing kids to run down hallways continuously. And also lazy guests using carts to take items to rooms and than just leaving carts outside their rooms after using them. I don’t fault the staff as they aren’t supposed to roam the hallways every half hour searching for lazy guests carts. I assume they are the who same people who don’t return shopping carts at grocery stores. Great breakfast and friendly staff. Onsite laundry for guests! Overall great stay and highly recommended!
