My hubby and I went for our 39 wedding anniversary… Ivan and Barefoot was absolutely amazing… they greeted us with balloons and congrats for our anniversary.., helped us with all transportation and tours and were just wonderful. Thank you all for such a GREAT stay! We are grateful!

We were woken up daily by our housekeeper knocking loudly at our door. We asked not to have that service and nothing changed. An employee that cleaned up outside our room also woke us up with loud music every morning playing on a bluetooth speaker. This damaged our ability to sleep soundly. We asked for privacy but nothing changed. Otherwise, great spot if you're wanting to be in the middle of the busiest area in town.

I knew my stay would be a nightmare the moment I set my head down and my black shirt came away completely stained from the bleach on the comforter. Despite paying for two reservations, I was only given one key at check-in. The room itself was far from clean, there were roaches, not once but twice, that I had to kill myself. The towels provided were cheap, thin, and often stained, which only added to the feeling of poor upkeep. After reporting these issues and noticing the manager’s change in demeanor, I no longer felt comfortable raising further concerns. To make matters worse, water from what seemed like the upstairs AC unit drenched the walls. When I pointed it out, the manager dismissed it, blaming the weather and the AC being on. That explanation was clearly not the case. The unit made me so sick that I only started recovering after leaving for another hotel. This was by far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The only positive thing I can say is that the pool was decent. Beyond that, the stay was not worth the money, my clothes were ruined, my health was affected, and my vacation was spoiled. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We come to Caye Caulker every year and this was the first time staying at this property. Location is great as you are in the heart of Caye Caulker and not far from the split. The room was big, clean, enjoyed the coffee maker and refrigerator. We loved the balcony and the ability to people watch and relax. Pool was clean and felt great after long days.

Stay at Barefoot

I love Barefoot in Caye Caulker. It's very centralized to the ferry, The Strip, hardwood gym is a short walk and stingray beach, and Tarpon feeding is literally 100 ft away! The beds are comfy and I noticed a few bathroom updates too! Customer service is friendly and very attentive to things I may have needed throughout my week stay. This is my 3rd time here, and I'll be back! BEST BELIZE IT!!

We loved staying here! Great location, quiet, and clean. The pool is wonderful and the staff is kind and friendly. Make sure to get a cocktail there, they were the best on the island! Highly recommend :)

The property is conveniently located, and has a nice pool and rooftop lounge area. I checked into a regular room, but there was an issue with the air conditioning. Ivan at the front desk was very helpful and promptly set me up in a different room.. which I especially appreciated since it was an upgrade to a large studio apartment room. Ivan was also extremely helpful in providing directions, tips, and activities for me to do on the island. I would stay at this property again!

It's ok, not sure it was worth the price though. Stayed there 3 days with a balcony. The room needs quite a bit of maintenance. hot water wasn't very hot. The rooftop deck was nice, pool was nice.
