Great old house with 3 guest rooms plus a cottage outback. We really enjoyed the game room and the Continental breakfast was actually elegant. My own reservation about our experience was the parking. The instructions were not accurate and also not consistent with what we read online.

What a Gem!

Amazing stay, convenient to downtown shops and dining. Self serve from beginning to end. Sharing the Bathroom wasn’t an issue or an inconvenience . On street parking was safe. There a a carport to with charging capacity for EVs. Continental breakfast was fresh and delightful. Game room, gardens and full kitchen at the guest disposal. All rooms lock with a code for extra security. Street noise was quiet after 10 pm and before 6am. Hostess responsive to texts; price was competitive and yet accommodation was homey and cozy compared to chain hotels. House, grounds and beds were clean and tidy. Towels soft and thirsty, shower had great water pressure. Green house plants look beautiful and keep air clean, dog and family friendly. Met some really great people there! Would stay again if in the area! Well done, Stephen!

West Park B&B

Nice, clean, well-appointed B&B in a quiet part of Culpeper away from the traffic but close enough to walk to Main and Davis Streets. Host is very accommodating and self-serve breakfast was certainly ample.

We had such a great stay at West Park Gardens. Stephen, the owner, went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect for us. The home is absolutely beautiful and has everything you need to be comfortable. The master suite is very spacious; bed is comfortable. Breakfast and coffee were wonderful, and he had some unique local foods. We loved playing in the game room, and our dog so enjoyed the fenced in back yard. The outdoor space was pretty amazing too. Just a great experience; and we hope to be back another time.

Check-in is through your phone. Hotel is an older house with plenty of character, and creaky floorboards. Be prepared to share the bathroom/shower if other guests have arrived (fortunately, we had the house to ourselves). Several rooms for relaxing, including a pool table, darts and boardgames. Garden is a pleasure. Parking is on the street.

Wonderful experience. Would 100% stay again and recommend to others.

West Park Garden is beautiful! The attention to details inside the Bed & Breakfast and outside make the space elegant, restful, extremely comfortable! West Park Garden is a destination by itself and we will be returning. Bed & Breakfast hosts rarely offer guests the chance to make themselves completely at home, especially in a kitchen as nice as West End Garden. The next time we stay it will be for several days. We will take advantage of the lovely kitchen, the magical backyard with a soothing fountain/subtle lighting. Additionally we will spend more time enjoying a glass of wine while playing cards/board games in the parlor room with glass windows on three sides. I highly recommend this wonderful listing!!

Charming!

We had an incredibly short stay, but it was absolutely lovely. So much so that I'm looking for my next excuse to stay in the area again! We stayed on a Thursday night and got in late, and I don't think anyone else was staying in the other rooms that night. The owner left all the lights on for us which felt welcoming. The house is very charming, and the continental breakfast was perfect for our hike that day. (fresh fruit, pastries, hard boiled eggs, cereal, coffees, teas). Would have loved to have some extra time to play a game of pool or sit in the garden! Thanks for a great yet short stay.

Like being at home!

Great stay. The house was very comfortable. Smelled great in every room. Loved the Pacman arcade game! Thought the shared bathroom would be strange but we were on a different schedule than the people we were sharing with. We will stay here again!

House beautiful!! Room, not so much.

Beautiful place. Our room had 2 hard back chairs, with worn out cushions. Having some comfortable sitting chairs would have made a great difference. Also, there were 4 king bed pillows, and several large throw pkllows, all were quite firm. Gave me a krik in my neck. Tried turning them, and moving around many times. Not restful. TV was hung high on the wall. Uncomfortable to watch from chairs. Temperature was a little cool, but had nice blankets easil available.

Wonderful B & B

This place is a gem in Culpeper! The house is clean and nicely decorated. If you bring a dog they have a beautiful backyard for them to run around in. Unlike other bed and breakfast spots, the food is laid out so you can get it at your own leisure. This location is close to Shenandoah so it’s a great spot to stay at nearby.
