Lovely place to stay

Our stay was extremely comfortable. Our room was spacious with a king sized bed, sofa and chair facing a TV. There was an area with a kettle, coffee and tea making and a toaster for breakfast in the morning. A small table and chairs completed the room. Plenty of space. Breakfast was buffet style laid out on the landing for all the rooms. Lots of choice. Eat in bedroom. Elizabeth, the hostess, was friendly and efficient. We had a very peaceful stay.

Great choice

Delightful place to stay for a country break or to visit Shakespeare's country. This is an elegant and peaceful period property with up to date amenities. It seems a little odd to have breakfast in the room, but it works very well, with a nicely laid table and an extensive array of quality breakfast foods laid out on the landing (shared by all 4 rooms) each morning. A bonus is a large fridge on the landing which allows guests to store their own food (or wine/beers!), and a good supply of fresh milk. The rooms are well arranged so that you can't hear the other guests and the only sounds you hear from outside are the animals. With a friendly host and outside seating, this is a really lovely place to stay.

Very hospitable and generous

Very hospitable and welcoming. Huge bedroom with a sitting area and small breakfast table, as well as the usual refreshments ( kettle, tea coffee etc). Our host Elizabeth provided lots of gluten free food. The cafetiere hadn't been washed since the last guests but this was the only disappointment. A huge variety of food was provided for breakfast, eg berries, yogurt, boiled eggs, ham, bread, pastries, cereal... As a buffet to eat in your own room. Worked very well ☺️. A very quiet location considering it's a working farm.

Comfortable and homely

The room was large and very comfortable. Elizabeth accommodated our requests and the cooked breakfast was delicious although the included breakfast was much more extensive than we expected so you may want to just stick with that! Parking is limited at the accommodation but it is fine if people park on the diagonal (you can then fit around 4-5 cars in) but if people park straight on it makes things a bit awkward. The accommodation is in a remote area so realistically you need to drive to get to the loxal pubs etc (just something to be aware of when booking) but it also meant it was lovely and quiet. The bus tour around Stratford was very good and the commentary was very interesting. Thespians indian restaurant is also worth a visit for an evening meal.

8/10 Very good

Wonderfully situated in a lovely and so peaceful countryside, very quiet, sheep grazing on the other side of the one track road leading to the house. The house is over one hundred years old so creaks and cracks here and there are to be expected. A nice breakfast buffet with fresh fruit, pastries, muesli, different breads, a hard boiled egg, cooked ham, packaged cheeses and more will be arranged in the landing right outside of the room to be consumed in the rooms. This arrangement is a bit unaccustomed but actually quite nice, especially when the sun is shining, the window is open and sheeps bleeting and bird chirping can be heard. The wonderful Cotswolds and lovely towns are quickly reached by car. We stayed only for two nichts, a longer stay would have been nice.

4/10 Fair

Bit disappointed

Big spacious room nice towels. Great view. Quiet and peaceful. Our choice of room was changed day before to a room which, when booking was the 1 of the 4 we disliked most. I felt a phone call rather than email would have been better. I didn’t find the person I spoke to re reason for the change particularly polite on the phone. We expected a cooked breakfast so feel the booking should say it’s continental. The double bed was very uncomfortable, springy and lumpy. Lucky we had the spare one in the end. Behind our bed and the sink was very dirty and dirty tissues. Only two double sockets in the room.

Perfect Place To Stay With Breakfast Included.

If you're looking for a nice place to stay only a short drive from Stratford-Upon-Avon this is it. The host was friendly and helpful. The (Cream) room was very clean with it's own on bathroom suite with a nice hot powerful shower. Lovely views, room was quiet, comfortable bed, lots of extra tea, Coffee and milk. Has to be the best value place we've stayed in for a long time. Breakfast was very generous and good quality it was left outside the room for us and other guests to enjoy. We will be back and recommend to our friends. Lovely stay.
Comfortable Bed & Breakfast Table.
Spacious Room With Nice Views.
Generous Breakfast.

We had a lovely stay at this very friendly B+B and the host was very accommodating. The house is set in quiet farmland with views over the fields - well worth another visit

We loved it , beautiful setting in the countryside on a working farm. Elizabeth is a real blessing , she really looked after us, upgraded our room for free and went out of the way to provide a lovely spread for breakfast. The bed was comfy and bedroom spacious with everything you need for a midweek break. Stratford just over 10 minutes away by car. Highly recommended and value for money.
