On the edge of town

This is an old hotel, but we love the location and parking right by the door to our room is so handy. The staff is friendly, we have stayed multiple times. They are short on cleaning staff, so daily room cleaning was paused but they provided fresh towels which is really all that we needed.

Wonderful stay! The room was spotless, and the check-in process was warm and welcoming. I especially enjoyed waking up to the peaceful view of deer right outside my window — such a lovely touch of nature. I would definitely stay here again!

Just ok.

Very old slightly charming motel. We enjoyed the pool! This motel could definitely use updating. The first room, the refrigerator didn’t work. The AC had not been turned on ahead of time, even though it was August. The second room, the refrigerator work, but the door wouldn’t close all the way so I had to put a chair up against it to keep it semi closed. The second room also the AC had not been turned on ahead of time.

Das Dietzel ist ein altmodisches Haus und nicht auf dem neuesten Stand. Man hat aber alles, was man braucht. WLAN, Klimaanlage, TV und vor allem ein bequemes Bett. Die Lage ist perfekt um Fredericksburg bei Tag und auch am Abend zu erkunden, alles ist fußläufig erreichbar. Die Damen am Check-in sind sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit, wir würden das Dietzel erneut auswählen.
