The room was in excellent condition, beautiful location and beautiful view. No complaints with the cleanliness and decor. Our first small issue was our door didn’t close and lock fully which we only discovered when our key card didn’t work but we managed to push the door open whilst still technically locked. The staff to their credit dealt with this immediately by visiting the room and basically telling us to ‘make sure you pull the door locked’ which is fine but maybe not something everyone would do, they did say maintenance would look at this and fix it, so fair enough.
Secondly room service being a reduced menu after 10pm, it’s not a single thing listed on the normal menu it’s a frozen pizza, I believe this should be made clear rather than the term ‘reduce menu’ implying there are still options from the restaurant menu available.
Lastly and partly our own fault we left two items in the room after checking out, no worries I thought I’ll just ring them up and arrange them. In 2 days I tried to ring using their general enquiries option 12 times, no answer, sent an email, no response. Ultimately I picked the ‘make a reservation option’ which was picked up immediately. Thankfully the lady on the phone was very helpful and left a message with the reception and cleaning team. I am yet to hear anything regarding the items.
The staff for their part were lovely but things are communicated very poorly and this needs addressing
