Perfectly located hotel, really scenic. The aurora cabins are great, breakfast and dinner as well. For some reason, internet is only available in the main building. Staff is friendly and provides all necessary information. The sauna with lake view is definitely worth a visit!

One night in a chalet

Oh what a gem in the middle of nowhere! Great international feel, public areas look great. We had a chalet, great choise beeing on the road for a while to get your personal Sauna, a view to the lake. It all seemed quite newly built with the smell of thermally treated wood in the walls. Definitely will book again if I`m ever round here again. Great kitchen for a quality dinner too in the main building and a quality breakfast. Great job guys!

We stayed for two nights at one of the chalets. It was very roomy, although we found functional areas were lacking, more specifically, there was no counter space or mirror by the shower sink which made it difficult for basic use and the lack of caddies to place our belongings. Towel hooks weren’t the greatest and they kept falling off. The sink in the bathroom was extremely small, even just for handwashing and everything kept getting splashed. The breakfast was good but it did get quite busy. The doors also kept sticking to the floor which could be related to uneven flooring. Otherwise the property was beautiful with the lake out front and a beach. There was a large tipi with what appeared to be used for activities like yoga but we were never informed of this, which would’ve been nice to have been informed during check in so we didn’t have to wonder. The food at the restaurant was delicious!

Mostly great stay, with some minor notes...

Our Aurora cabin had the best location, right on the lake. This cabin has no internet or tv, which we knew ahead and that was fine with us. But there is also no space to unpack, zero storage. In the bathroom no hair dryer or racks to hang towels. We missed a table by the sofa, nightlights by the bed, a bench at entrance to sit and put your shoes on, maybe a small fridge (medicine to keep cold). Or why not place a shelf at the stairs outside to put things? The restaurant was clean and the staff very friendly. We booked breakfast & dinner and on the webside there are pictures of nice ala card dish. Not included. We got a no-choice dinner each night. We did not mind because the quality was very good, but that was not what we expected. At breakfast the scrambled eggs came from a bottle and bread toasters and waffle toasters were the kind for home use. Always people waiting in line for both. The worst thing about the cabin was the heating. It was not very cold during our stay, +2/ -3 celcius but the blower was blowing all the time, 24/7. I got a headache and sore throat as result, the noise was like a washing machine. They seem pretty eager to get (more of) your money, and that becomes slighty irritating. Other hotels may offer free cancellation, transfer to and from the hotel. None of that! You must pay ahead (50% at booking, the rest a month before), nonrefundable. Transfer was €110 each way, and on the way back we were in a bus with12 others!

オーロラを見るために、9月末に5泊しました。お天気にも恵まれ、湖面に映る素晴らしいオーロラを見ることができました。 滞在は言うことなしでした。窓からの景色を楽しみながら朝からたっぷりおいしい朝食を食べ、昼は稲荷中心地のスーパーやトレイルに行き(女性一人でも安心して歩けました)、夜はレストランで美味しいディナーを楽しんだあとはオーロラ見物…夢のような滞在でした。 一番安いカテゴリーのお部屋だったので、洗面所が狭く使いにくいのが難点でした。シャワーブースから水が流れ出てトイレや洗面台のあたりまで濡れるので、工夫が必要です。また、カーテンを開けると向かい合わせの棟の部屋が丸見えで、日中はお部屋でくつろぎにくかったです。かわりにホテルの居心地のいいロビーでゆっくり過ごしました。湖畔のサウナは人気があるので、早めに予約したほうがいいです。 レセプションの人たちはみんな親切で、より良い滞在にするためにいろいろ提案してくれました。初日は24時頃チェックインだったのですが、鍵の受け渡しについて事前にやり取りをして、きちんと受け取れるようにしてくれました。すてきな滞在をありがとうございました。

こちらに滞在していただけで一生忘れられない体験ができました。朝晩の食事のビュッフェも美味しく、部屋にサウナがあるのもオーロラ鑑賞で冷え切った身体を温めるのにありがたかったです。日本人率が大変高く驚きましたがまた再訪したいと思うホテルでした。

Wunderschönes Hotel in traumhafter Lage

Das Wilderness Hotel Inari ist ein echtes Juwel in Lappland! Die Lage direkt am Inari-See ist einfach atemberaubend – besonders im Winter, wenn sich die Nordlichter am Himmel zeigen. Die Log Cabins sind gemütlich und modern zugleich. Das Personal ist herzlich und hilfsbereit, man fühlt sich von Anfang an willkommen. Auch das Essen im Restaurant ist hervorragend – regionale Spezialitäten, die perfekt in die Umgebung passen. Wer nach einer Mischung aus Entspannung, Natur und einzigartigen Erlebnissen sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Absolut empfehlenswert!
