Well worth staying here
Great place to stay in the centre of the island. For some people this may seem too far to walk to the beach every day, but trust me its only 5 minutes on the bicycle and its so worth it when you realise the difference in tranquility.. we stayed near the beach before this and the noise from the multiple mosques is just impossible to ignore. At Uki village Its like a peaceful and safe haven at night with a really nice well lit pool. The rooms are suprisingly large with really high cielings. Both aircon and fans keep the place cool and theres a mosquito net for the bed. Huge bathroom that functions well. Very friendly staff who welcomed us with freshly made juice and offered us a snorkeling trip at half the price of anyone else near the beach.
