I really enjoyed our 3 night stay. Our room was very clean. Housekeeping came round every day. Shower facilities were very clean. If I was to add anything it would be some outside seating area.

Get what you pay for.....

Adequate accommodatio. Very basic, motel style rooms. Shared toilets and showers. Room had sink and tv. Sheets were clean and towels and a bar of soap provided. Reception staff were nice and friendly.
Catriona, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Low cost room to sleep in while travelling. Was located well for what we wanted to do
Jim, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Definitely pet friendly. Bedding was clean and room secure. For the price paid (average less than half the others within a 50 mile radius) you expect a few niggles, but nothing that would stop me staying again. Ideal base for Kelpies, Falkirk Wheel, and train to Edinburgh (in Fringe season). Ideal for a one or two night stopover, which is probably why it is so popular with tradespeople. Very good value for money.
Tim, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

The value for money here was incredible. Despite reading some unsavoury reviews, we have nothing but praise for it. We chose a room with private facilities, and although small, it had everything we needed for an overnight stay. Bed sheets were spotless, white cotton good quality, as were the towels. There was a 2 drawer chest of drawers between the single beds, hanging space but no hangers, only hooks. We had our own hangers with us so no problem. Tea/coffee making facilities incuded too. There is a fabulous Bejing Banquet right next door to Metro Inns if you want somewhere good to eat. The shower/ toilet/ wash basin fits into a compact space with a modesty screen door for privacy. a couple of shower gels and shampoo provided also. We were on ground floor and experienced no late noise whatsoever.

There were quite a few bad reviews of this place but we found it fine. Sure, the room was small but the staff were friendly and it was quiet and we had no problems.
Claudine, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Bedrooms were in poor condition not as expected. Reception staff very friendly. Shower rooms were good. Utensils missing from separate kitchen. Check out time too early.
Atikur, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

It's a hostel. Whole place needs refurbished. And a good clean. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Tracey, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

It was very suitable for the beginning of our pitstop tour of the east coast. The gentleman who was at the desk on Tuesday evening was very friendly and very helpful. This place had everything that we needed. They even had a list of places to get a takeaway as we got there later than expected. Thank you!
The beautiful 100ft Kelpies just a stone's throw away.
Aldona, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

This hotel was more like a hostel. Glad to have the use of private toilet. Not the friendliest of welcomes.
hayley, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Basic conditions, reflected in the price. Great for one night, no more! Room smelt of mould - from shower toilet 'closet'. Staff friendly and helpful.

It’s good value for money, friendly staff very helpful
Neville, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

I’d like to thank super helpful staff at the inn first. Otherwise the location was nice for the price. If you’re not picky it’s even a nicer place to stay at. The only trouble was that it was costing us about £20 daily to get to Edinburgh, which again was still cheaper than staying in Edinburgh. It was just time consuming. Overall very nice place to stay.
Narges, 4-night trip

Was a bit apprehensive after reading some reviews but found lady at reception very friendly and informative. The room was clean and bed comfortable slept really well.Stayed in more expensive places but for the price and my experience i cant fault it.
