Great b&b hotel in a beautiful location up the hill above the villa melzi just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the village but still walkable. Rooms, service and breakfast all fantastic.

O quarto é ótimo! Tem um pequeno elevador que nos ajudou muito! Atendimento é conforto ótimos! O hotel fica dentro da ZTL, então não temos permissão para estacionar na rua nem transitar no local. Deixamos o carro num estacionamento indicado pelo anfitrião q eh de fácil acesso à pé. No dia de irmos embora, o anfitrião anotou a placa do carro q informou as autoridades que estamos entrando na ZTL apenas para pegar as malas e sair. Recomendo!!!!

Though the high ceilings were novel, haven for mosquitoes. And there were plenty, no AC, room lacked charm. Uncomfortable stay. High step to bathroom and if you don’t pay attention- accident waiting to happen. Photos misleading.

I must say that I was very disappointed. The staff is nice, but only there in the morning. The property conditions are not what I expected from the fotos. Mold in the shower, super old carpet in common areas, place filled with moskitos (which I know is a problem in Florence, but never had it that bad), and the overall feeling is cold and damp, even on a sunny day. The fotos of the outside show the palace and terrace across the street, not the actual hotel… The price is definitely too high for what this is.

Very central location. Convenient checkin. Very clean. Our rate included breakfast which would have been better if we’d known there was a microwave in the office. Also didn’t understand until checking out that there was coffee and espresso in the office. The floors go up and down strangely but that added to the charm.

We had a very nice stay here. We easily coordinated the checkin. The room was clean and a very nice size. The bed was comfortable. This is an easy walk to the center of town with plenty of nice dining options around and a very good cafe downstairs.

We were very happy with our first time at this B B..Room/staff and location suited us perfectly.We would have given it 5 stars except for the smell of sewage sometimes later in the evening coming from the basement area,but as the rooms are on the 3rd floor this wasn’t an issue.We can only imagine how difficult it is to manage these problems when a City has so many tourists …but we had a lovely time M Light. ..Cornwall…UK
