Wonderful Location, Nice Room, Responsive Staff

Wonderful location. Nice, responsive staff. Nicely appointed, modern rooms (living area + bedroom). No A/C, no overhead fan but one floor fan. City air was polluted, so no way to escape. No elevator for 5 story hotel. Would stay here again.

Está MUY bien ubicado, las habitaciones son muy cómodas y lindas. El piso de la ducha del baño se veía un poco sucio. Lo que realmente no me gustó es que no tiene ascensor. Yo tengo una lesión en la rodilla y me ayudaron a subir y bajar mi maleta grande, pero igual me tocó en el 4to piso lo que no fue cómodo para mí. También. El desayuno es en la terraza en la 5to piso. Por lo tanto, no hay más opción que subir y bajar escalas

The property is well located in Condesa and surrounded by great bars and restaurants. However I can’t rate the property highly as we couldn’t sleep due to excessive noise. I had requested a quiet room on a high floor (I sent this request twice before we travelled) however we were allocated one on the first floor right on the street. The noise level was horrendous. Loud noise until late into the night including constant motorbikes revving and cars beeping- we were then woken about 4.30 each morning by a delivery van banging and beeping. There is also a lot of noise from the corridor so we were surrounded on both sides. We only went to breakfast once as the weekend days it started too late for us but unfortunately all tables were full so we went and got coffee and cake and sat in the park instead.

Our group enjoyed staying at this property. The staff was welcoming and very attentive. They even made an early morning breakfast to go for us. It is our opinion that this property is located in a safe neighborhood. We would walk to dining options even for dinner. Loved it.

Nice but too much noise

Nice building but fails on the most important thing - allowong a good nights sleep. The indoor courtyard is pretty but noise carries throughout. Two staff members went up and down the (metal) stairs countless times between 4-5am (moving laundry bags) which made it impossible to sleep. Recepcionist was disinterested when I reported it (“they have been told not to do that b it do it anyway”)

Great time! We recommend! Best bang for your buck!

The hotel is great especially for the price and location. Rooms are big and more spacious than I anticipated. Beds are comfortable but the pillows can use a bit more bounce. Apartments are cleaned everyday with fresh towels etc. free breakfast and a wine bottle too. Don’t expect a lot with breakfast but it is enough to sustain you before you hit the first bakery in the morning. I don’t like that bottled water is not replenish for free but 7 eleven and oxxo are a walk away. Banks are around the corner too. It is close to a park and walkable to Roma Norte where the fancy shops are. Condesa has the fancy shops as well but it tends to lean more on food spots and cafe/bakeries. Oh the apartments windows face each other but has adequate coverage if you want privacy.

Muy recomendable

Mi estancia fue genial, servicio excelente. Lugar pequeño con habitaciones cómodas y muy acogedoras, no hay elevador pero te ayudan a subir tus maletas. La terraza está súper linda y cómoda si necesitas conectarte a trabajar. La ubicación es magnífica y hay muchos lugares para comer, tomar una copa, un café, e incluso de compras y puedes ir caminando a todos lados en la zona. Me hospedé ahí por trabajo pero me encantaría regresar en plan relajado. Lo recomiendo 👍

Nuestra experiencia en Casa Decu fue excelente, el personal es super atento, el hotel es sumamente limpio, el desayuno delicioso. Para muchos es inconveniente la falta del elevador, o que no haya aire acondicionado, constan de abanicos y calentadores portátiles. Nosotros visitamos en diciembre el clima estaba excelente. Volveremos a Casa Decu en nuestra próxima visita a Ciudad de México.

Spacious hotel in perfect location.

Fabulous hotel in a perfect location, being walking distance to many shops and restaurants. I had a wonderful oversized room with lots of space to spread out. Had some heavy bags so was surprised to see there was no elevator but the porters were very helpful. Would definitely recommend.

This was a great base to explore the city and would recommend, the roof top was a nice addition as somewhere to relax after a busy day. Only negatives would be noise travels in this building and we could hear people noisily walking up and down the stairs in the middle of the night. There is also no lift, so breakfast on the 6th floor might be problematic for some.
