The condition of the hotel was not the freshest at the time of our stay. It has great potential and many nice amenities. Unfortunately, over the course of the pandemic, the condition of these many beautiful little details has deteriorated further and further from its original state.
There is often a lack of maintenance and care in many places, as well as a lack of attention to detail.
The journey to the hotel was an absolute disaster, as the road was washed out by heavy rain and off-road skills were required. Halfway between the main road and the hotel, we were in disbelief that we were still on the right track.
The owner will probably have to do it again if he wants to keep the hotel's stars.
The manager recommended some very good restaurants nearby for the evening. The Pizzaria Trattoria del lago can be described as "very good".
The breakfast included in the price consisted of good coffee, toast and jam. You were encouraged to help yourself to the toaster. It was like staying in an "exclusive youth hostel".
The view of the nearby lake from the room and the chirping of the birds made it easy to get over everything. It was a lovely stay and we were able to enjoy the peace and quiet and the natural surroundings.
