Disappointing

Stayed at The Little Haven several times and previously enjoyed our stay. Service and food quality in the restaurant poor, some very overcooked, another dish unrecognisable. Breakfast was okay. Lounge area is more like a cafe area and bar often closed. Bedroom was comfortable but getting dated.

My happy place!

I have stayed here a few times now. The staff are friendly and the location, sea view, is lovely. Food choice was a little limited for dinners but what I had was good. Breakfast was very good. I will definitely return.

A nice location, room was nice with standard equipment. However when my partner & I used the bath in the evening, we had an hour of horrid noise caused by the hot water rank refilling and reheating. Raised at checkout and got a "We'll get maintance to check it out". Ignoring the fact it completely ruined the mood of a romantic getaway & a good night's sleep. No recompense offered on request.

Little Haven

The staff are very friendly and helpful. Restaurant is really nice with a great outlook, very short staffed, the food was nice but cold, husband had ate his gammon before receiving his vegetables which we had to ask for. The worst bed I have ever slept in, small hard and lumpy, no sleep. Location is really nice, but we won’t be back

Wonderful Stay

Me and my wife really enjoyed our stay at Little Haven, the location of the hotel suited me as I'm a ex seamen, so the views of ships departing and arriving were fantastic, you can also enjoy nice strolls along the promenade and easy reach of south shields. The room we were staying in(212) was a little foisty and cold when we checked in, I did mention this on the app, the hotel responded by freshening up the room for us which we were most grateful for. It was very quiet at the hotel, the breakfast on the morning was excellent and service at the restaurant was great ,as was the reception staff who answered all our queries. parking is free which is a bonus as most places now charge you. i would definately be returning to this hotel. thank you all for a great stay.

Honest review

It was ok. Main rooms including dining were a little cold so when eating you felt uncomfortable. Room was clean however for the standard we chose was ok but had issues.As the bed was uncomfortable the bathroom was very clean and smart however the toilet handle fell off and we had to use another rooms toilet.Overall we would go back as we like the position of the hotel next to the river.

Nice location

Nice enough place, bit dated. Receptionist very welcoming and helpful. Room dated and smelt foisty. Was ok once room had warmed up. Breakfast was a bit chaotic. Nice location. We enjoyed our night away but wouldnt rush back.
