Property was in a great location in which you’re not too far from Patong Beach… Karon Beach… centrally located so she wanted a quiet evening or a party filled evening you could have both… Within a short amount of time… staff was friendly and excellent… Our only challenge was the elevators broke down on a few occasions… Although they were able to fix them relatively fast

The hotel is within walking distance to Karon beach without being immersed in the busier beach traffic. There are plenty of restaurants near by or enjoy the hotel breakfast. The staff are attentive and helpful.

The hotel premises are elegant and well kept. The same does not hold true with the nearby surroundings.Heavy traffic, garbage on the street and untidy buildings makes walking unpleasant and unsafe. You will need a taxi or a shuttle buss provided by the hotel to the beach and back. By looking at the Google map I would not have realized this fact. Like everywhere in Phuket, a great number of guests come from Russia.

Best honeymoon

We’re a couple going on a honeymoon in Phuket, and decided to stay at Hotel Ikon Phuket. We really enjoyed the stay, and the staff is amazing and really sweet. They listened to our wishes about decorating a honeymoon theme on the bed, and it was perfect. We got a view over the mountains, and it was absolutetly stunning. We also knew before hand that the hotel is 15 minutes walk away from karon beach, so that wasn’t a problem for us. The hotel also have shuttle bus that go to the beach and back to the hotel. Overall i would definetly recommend this hotel

All around good hotel

This was a nice hotel. They had a good breakfast spread and transportation to the beach that runs every hour in the morning. The front desk was very helpful when our safe did not work and held our luggage after check out. The airport transportation arrangements were also very easy and affordable. The only thing is that there are 3 separate buildings for the rooms and we stayed in the highest floor so we had to take 2 or 3 elevators to get to the pool or lobby. The ocean view is more of just a higher view of the area and a sliver of the ocean.

Room for improvements

The rooms are fine at this hotel but the facilities left alot to consider. There is no bar by the pool area or anywhere in the hotel. There is a cafe but closes already at 5pm. The electricity outlets was also brokek at our room and the TV was broken down most of the time and had to call in technicians to fix at two different occasions. On top of that the safety box, which was operated digitally, stopped working after two days so it had to be replaced during our stay. For the price you pay at this hotel I would say I did expect more excellence

This is a really great hotel. It is not centrally located in Karon and to get to the main strip (restaurants and bars etc) it’s about a ten minute walk. It’s location not being in the thick of it in Karon is one of its strengths as the property is quiet and away from the hustle and bustle. The staff are fantastic from those at the front desk to the cleaning staff and the waiters. They were all very helpful, ordering us cabs and answering any requests quickly and effectively. The hotel is very quiet and despite being full we couldn’t hear any of the other hotel guests or external noise at all, which meant we had restful sleeps every night. One minor point is that the rooms didn’t have an iron so you have to call reception for someone to bring one. This was a little inconvenient but staff were quick to bring the iron when it was requested and I had no trouble getting one whenever I needed it. There are restaurants around the hotel, though more variety can be found further into Karon or Kata. The beach is about a 15 minute walk but if you don’t want to walk the hotel provides a shuttle service to and from the beach throughout the day. There is ample parking available for mopeds and some limited space for cars (perhaps about 8 spaces in total). Breakfast is buffet style, very tasty with a variety of options for meat eaters and vegetarians. Overall, a wonderful hotel! Highly recommended and would return if staying in Phuket again.

I had a great experience staying at this hotel. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made the whole stay feel welcoming. The breakfast was excellent, with a good variety of options to start the day right. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free, which I really appreciated. One of the best perks was the free shuttle service to the beach – super convenient and made getting around so much easier. Overall, a fantastic stay – I’d definitely come back!

Leuk niet te groot hotel met zeer ruime kamers. Alles netjes. Goed basis ontbijt. Personeel beperkt in hun Engels maar zo vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Gratis transport om het uur van en naar het strand van Karon. Heerlijk zwembad met degelijk ligstoelen en parasols. Goede prijs-kwaliteit, ik zou hier zeker terug boeken.

We stayed as a couple on this hotel for 14 nights and we enjoyed our stay there. There is a short walk around 100 meters from the hotel to a 7Eleven store, which was very convenient. You will also find restaurants, stores and massage studios nearby. There’s a short walk to Karon Avenue, where you can also find some restaurants and stores. It’s a very short walk to Karon Beach from the hotel, which was very great. The hotel is offering free shuttle to and from Karon Beach every hours. The staff was very friendly and helpful! :) The cleaning was great but, we could see some dust over the bed and on the chair next to the bed. Not sure if it was mold or dust on the chair. A bad smell was coming into the room from air conditioning, don’t know the reason if they were fixing the pipes or what. We can highly recommend this hotel for everyone who want’s to visit Phuket and stay at a more quiet area then Patong and Kata! :)

Godt og moderne hotel, med fin beliggenhed i Karon, med gåafstand til strand, tæt på indkøb og med knap så meget støj omkring, til trods for det lå op af hovedvejen. Værelserne var super fine, rengøringsdamerne gjorde et fint arbejde her, men ellers så der rodet og beskidt ud på gangene. Morgenmaden var ganske udemærket taget et hotel i Asien i betragtning. Aftensmad skal dog ikke bestilles her. Poolen var lækker, men området var dog en smule småt.
