Such a value find! The room had beautiful view of mountains. The motel albeit being a bit old, was wonderful and clean. The staff were very accommodating. Check-in closes at midnight, but we were unsure if we would arrive by then. I called the place earlier in the evening and informed them about this. They sent us detailed instructions on how to check in ourselves. They also told me to call them anytime if I needed help. Free breakfast was also a nice bonus

Gold River has a super remote location, right in the middle of fantastic mountains. The motel has a mountain movie-like ambience for its setting. Very basic motel, cheap and cheery.

The owners have been working on upgrading this property and it’s much more comfortable than in years past. This hotel is about the only option in town but the staff is great, accommodating, and really try. Continental breakfast is above average and nice for those early mornings.

Great motel in Gold River. Very friendly staff. Met the owner, and the manager. They wanted to make sure we were happy. Great location next to a very nice pub with great food, a minute walk to tourist info and EV chargers, plus great trails for walking the dog. Very much enjoyed two nights here.

My room was clean, well lit, with a lovely view of a grove of trees. The Hospitality Room, where the breakfast is available, is open all day, so I was able to toast some of my bread and make sandwiches. The flowers around the outdoor seating area are beautiful. This is a "working person" motel, with space to park rigs/boats, fish cleaning station, and ease of access. The staff person is friendly, helpful, and cheerful.

Hospitality room a pleasant surprise - a large room open 24/7, large round tables, lounge end with a fireplace at one end, and the breakfast area at the other. Good place for a game of cards in the evening, chatting with other guests. Place could use more staff for deep cleaning and maintenance. Nice and quiet.
