Love the peace

We stay here once or twice a year. Staff ae extremely friendly and helpful. Loved the chipmunks and little red squirrels. Very entertaining!

budget friendly

It was good, rooms were smelly like damp wood and has some mosquitos as well. No repellents were provided to prevent that. Since it is a budget friendly stay so can be ignored.

Check in was quick and easy. However, the room was pretty dirty starting from the floor to the beds. My friend found a tick in her leg after lying in the bed for a bit so not sure if that came from outside or the bed itself because when we lifted up the pillows, we saw several other bugs like mosquitoes and flies. Clearly, the place is not cleaned well and I am hoping I didn't bring back any bed bugs. On top of that, there was a storm overnight and we lost power at 3 am. This meant that when we woke up at 7:30 am, there was no electricity, running water or internet. I tried to contact the front desk but noone answered. We could hear generators working all around our motel but ours was not attended to at all. We checked out early to try and freshen up elsewhere. Definitely avoid this place!

Endroit bien situé. Par contre, l'endroit a besoin de rénovations. Il y a beaucoup de clarté car se sont de vieux stores verticaux en plastique. Les serviettes étaient de bonne qualité, les lits étaient super! Le propriétaire était très gentil car nous avons une arrivée tardive, et la chambre était illuminée. Le motel est situé en face de l'eau et le départ de la croisière. J'y retournerais pour un petit séjour.

This was advertised as waterfront but it's over a block away from the water. Definitely false advertising. It was an $80-a-night place that we paid $250 for. The bathroom needed an overhaul and the beds were terrible. For that price, we expected a lot more.

On my opinion the price rate is not suitable to the stand of the property like the bathroom floors are creaking. airconditioner are hard to manage the controls. Amenities are not perfect it is good we bring our own. Internet does not have a strong connection. One thing good the staff are friendly.

Five Star Staff and Peaceful Stay

A geeat place. Lovely staff. Front desk gentleman was a very very very nice staff memeber. There was a kitchen available to make coffee and save my food in fridge. Microwave was very handy. I took the cruise right across the street. Very quiet and peaceful stay.

The Capricorn was in a beautiful location right on the water. This hotel was fairly well kept. The exterior was lovely and well maintained. The inside was dated, yet tidy. The room did have a bit of a musty smell but completely tolerable. The staff that greeted us was very friendly and helpful. Check in was easy. I think this motel has great potential with some minor upgrades.

Un des pires endroits que j'ai visité. Devoir laisser couler 15 minutes avant que l'eau chaude arrive est totalement ridicule et gaspillle de l'eau. La robinetterie m'est d'ailleurs restée dans les mains! Les stores étaient très cheap et laissaient entrer toute la lumière. 2 seules prises de courant dans toute la chambre dont 1 occupée par le branchement de la télé. Le jeune homme sur place était sympathique et tentait de nous aider au meilleur de ses capacités. Au final, le prix payé ne vaut absolument pas la peine, c'est presque insultant...
