All my worst nightmares at checkout (language was a problem throughout the stay).
After a two week stay at the Veronica I approached the reception and asked for my room service/laundry bill etc, a full day in advance before checkout.
I was given the figure, changed some money outside the hotel and settled my outstanding account and told reception that I would be checking out the following evening.
Checking out the following evening to catch my return flight home.
I approached the reception "who had no idea that I was checking out" the receptionist the wanted to add ( from the original receipts ) my total room service.
I spent and hour and a half using interpreters on the phone convincing every one that the receipt in my hand was that payment with the exception of $7.00 for the days laundry and $8.00 for room service. Fortunately traffic was light and I caught my flight.
It was horrible ending to my two weeks holiday to Thailand.
