We had never been before, so it was a nice experience. Really enjoyed our three meals in the main dining room.

Food was great. Service was wonderful. Bathroom in rooms at the Lodge very small. Otherwise room cleanliness was good. They could use less abrasive towels

Everything was wonderful. Very clean. The property is beautiful and the trails are located right outside of the lodge. The restaurant was very good. We ate breakfast in the main dining and dinner at the back door grill. We will be back!

The service and food were exceptionally good. For those reasons I would return. The room was tiny and the bathroom was way too small. There was a coffee maker but no supplies to make a cup of coffee. No amenities in the room at all and the room was very outdated.

La ubicación es muy buena, ya que estas dentro del parque, los senderos y el parque son una maravilla. La limpieza no fue de lo mejor, ya que había cosas de húespedes anteriores en el piso. Y en la cama había chinches. Es muy rústico lo cuál lo hace ideal para el lugar.

Over the course of my 2-night stay, I killed 3 mysterious black bugs in my room. There was no towel rack. The bathroom was so small that anyone taller or heavier than I am would not fit! I had to put the coffee maker on the floor in order to reach an outlet. I ate at all 3 restaurants: Each was mediocre at best. This location is, of course, perfect for accessing hiking, & the history is meaningful; however, they are charging for a nice hotel when this should be billed as a motel.

It was great to stay in the middle of Starved Rock. It made hiking really easy. Our room was comfortable and quiet. The on site restaurant was pretty good, but the little cafe had great coffee and cookies!
