Stayed 2 nights and location was good for walks and a walk to the CBD and supermarkets. Nice to just park the car and have a walk around the place with nice views.

The location can't be beat,the towels are fluffy and the shower is clean and a great size. The mini kitchen has pretty much everything needed for a short stay. The bed, however, was like sleeping on a hard board, and the decor is a bit tired.

Room itself is nice, being right on the main strip. Staff are very friendly and helpful Can get noisy at night however that’s due to proximity of road and that would apply to all of the motels on marine parade. One thing i wasn’t happy with was the luggage storage, or lack thereof due to the reception being closed from 11-1, just make sure you read the motel check-in procedures beforehand. Basic microwave which is fine for the room just to eat at night, for Napier the place is fine and met my expectations

This property is across the road from a childrens playground and you also get a great view of tge sea from the room too. There is a restaurant within walking distance from the hotel and another good restaurant, which you will need to drive too called the station. Good sized meals.

Our over night stay was fabulous. Our room was perfect, clean and tidy. Our pull out sofa, wasn't made up. But a quick visit to reception and all was sorted immediately and with a smile and apology. Our Grandchildren thought it was amazing. Grest location to all that we wanted to do.

Had a great night at Edgewater motel in a Superior Studio Unit. It was a really decent size for what it had - have stayed in much smaller places that still have the sofa bed and a smaller queen crammed in. Having the balcony was great, although we didn't use it much, we were able to dry our swimming stuff after spending the day at Splash Planet! Easy walk to the restaurants and across the road from the ocean, with all the various entertainments offered down Marine Parade. Bed was really comfortable which is always a bonus. The kitchen space wasn't used by us, but was spacious and had everything you need. Would recommend.

This motel is average and aged. Our room had no working wifi or phone that worked & had mould on walls in bathroom. Time warped back to the 70s with stucco ceilings which were filthy. Our couches were falling to pieces & our room smelled of wet dog.
