Lovely hotel with excellent service
Although only booked for one night, but I had a very good experience.The staff are very helpful, the location is convenience that is close to town and just next to Cathedral. I love the fact that the hotel is a historical building and preserved so well from the inside and outside. Highly recommend to stay there while you visit Stonehenge, Old Sarum & Saisbury Cathedral.

New Years Break.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was tasy and well presented. There was a problem with the radiators in our room, but the hotel gave us a fan heater. There was no hook on the bathroom door. This needed to be replaced. We had a room looking out onto the main road, but it was not noisy. The room was beautiful, especially as we like oldy worldy furniture and atmosphere. The Christmas decorations were all taken down by breakfast on New Year's Day, which was a shame. Otherwise all was well. We would stay there again and reccommend The Chapter House to others.

Being so old The Chapter House must be a nightmare to maintain but the crew do it well and all those I met went out of their way to make my stay pleasant and comfortable. I was impressed as I felt they genuinely cared.

The Chapter House is a lovely little hotel. The staff were very warm, welcoming, and helpful. The location is excellent. Definitely one of my top five favourites in UK and Europe.

Had a lovely stay at the Chapter House. The hotel building is beautiful full of character and quirky. Our room was lovely. Very comfortable bed and nice bathroom with cathedral view. Staff were very professional and helpful. The only negative was the underwhelming breakfast but there are lots of eating places close by. Would definitely recommend hotel but give breakfast a miss next time

This hotel is convenient for visiting the city centre, cathedral and shops. My only criticism is that we were not forewarned about off site chargeable parking. This is not clear on the Hotel.com website. Staff and facilities at the hotel can't be faulted.

It’s a lovely property in a very convenient location for the city centre and the rail station. The staff were brilliant! I am disabled and they were very helpful. Old, Grade II listed buildings can be a real accessibility challenge but they were as accommodating as possible and very kind. I hope to be able to return in the future.

Unique ancient house restored as much as they can. Great staff and fantastic breakfast. Parking lot is a block and an half away for $8. We had a very comfy bed and a lovely shower. The pub serves first class grilled beef. Great experience.
