Beautiful hotel

We had a beautiful stay. The rooms are comfortable and have all you need. We stayed in a double with balcony, which was lovely. My room was on the 8th floor, with stunning views. The rooftop terrace was even better!

lovely but lacking

Hotel is lovely to look at and the rooms are tasteful although VERY small. The rooftop is exceptionally lovely. I was extremely disappointed to find that there was neither a fridge nor a kettle in spite of paying £180 for 1 night. The next size room has both for just a small amount more. Staff seemed unable to lend me a kettle from another unoccupied room for the one night of my stay. I had trouble getting wifi and called reception at 9pm for over 15 minutes and eventually had to go downstairs to report the problem as the phone remained unanswered. They made almost no effort at all to get me onto the wifi so I was left without until at 2am it connected itself again. I asked if maybe as compensation I could take breakfast but they refused, even though the manager was clearly interested in the issues I had had - to improve maybe for other people - but clearly they didn't feel I needed any customer service. On departure they tried to charge me for a drink at the bar which I did not have. The member of staff looked at me as though he didn't believe me until he saw the signature was clearly not mine.

A gem in Barcelona

The smaller Yurrban is great value for money! Perfectly located close to the Plaza Catalunyña and the Gothic part of town. A small and friendly hotel with excellent service - the staff definitely deserves five stars. The atmosphere is relaxed, casual and the interior and amenities are carefully designed to highlight the exclusive standard. Free cheese and wine every afternoon makes guests gather in the lobby to chill and chat. We will surely be back :)

Overall great stay, one disappointing issue.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms were simple but we're practical. The only thing that was disappointing is that we left a bottle of wine for another guest we met whilst staying there and specifically asked the reception to give it to them as we were checking out early but they didn't give it to them even though we requested it.

First of all, I want to say thank you to Carlos. I arrived at the hotel after midnight, and he kindly and calmly helped me with the general introduction and check-in of the hotel. That gave me a good image of this hotel. Every time I had breakfast, Marekhi was kind enough to take care of me. The breakfast is similar to other European hotels. There are only two elevators, so there is a drawback of coming too late at certain times. The smell of the bathroom tends to disappear a little late. The hotel gym is quite usable compared to three-star class, and the rooftop pool has a small number of sunbeds, but the composition is good. The 24/7 coffee machine is a great merit of this hotel. It is close to the Plaza de Catalonia, so I can walk to all the famous tourist attractions. When I checked out, I liked that one employee handled the computer processing and the other handled the luggage efficiently. Next time I come to Barcelona again, I will stay at a hotel again. Or at the Urban Passive Hotel. It has nothing to do with this hotel, but the south alley of this hotel requires special attention when traveling. I almost got into a setup crime where one guy spits on my back as he walks past me on a kickboard, another guy comes up to me and tells me to take off my shirt and steals my wallet.
