Best Value Hotel

Stayed for CSU graduation weekend. I have stayed at most of the 'value' hotels along I25 & Mulberry...this was the cleanest w/best bed!

Pictures are deceiving

The room was large, bed comfy. But the room had a strange odor! It was supposed to be non-smoking, but it smelled stale and funky. Even after returning home my clothes still reeked of this odor! The bathroom sink had the water faucets in reveres positions and it took 2 minutes or so of running the hot to get even warm water! The room was in need of new paint and updating. The free continental breakfast was a joke! You could hear other guests making noise in their rooms. At check-in I was asked if I was aware of their security deposit. It was $100 per night or $150 for 2 nights! Nothing mentioned about this on the web site when making the reservation! However, my deposit has been credited back to my CC and is currently pending.

Terrible customer svc

Terrible stay. Dirty bed comforter and sheets. Furniture was old and chipped bad. Shower was in bad shape. Washcloth held in place for shower curtain. We asked for towels, never rec'd. Charged us $66.60 and no one could explained. Terrible experience!

Awful

Room was not at all like advertised. Blood on sheets and lamp. Flour board between bedroom and bathroom rotted out. Massive paint chunks falling off the walls and homeless people parked living in their car in the parking lot and off on the side of the road.

Room smelled of previous pets. Outlets were minimal and either didn’t work or was coming out of the walls with exposed wires. No hairdryers. Rooms were old, beat up, and outdated. Towels and bed sheets had stains and the rugs felt gross and made our feet itchy. Only nice thing were the young adults at the front desk who checked us in.

Probably would not stay again.

For the most part the staff was friendly which was very nice. The front desk is plastered in signs with “important-must read” information covering much of the plexiglass windows and counters. The whole place is dingy and the room had a bad musty smell-I asked to look at another room (and I was offered a switch ) however it was similar in terms of odor and dinginess. I probably would have asked for a refund but rooms in town were a premium due to graduation. The bed was actually reasonably comfortable. The couch was covered in stains. The bathroom felt grungy. The room did have a nice TV with a reasonable variety and number of channels. There were plenty of drawers and hangers as welll as ironing board and iron. I think the room is due for an update. Breakfast-not great but free with room. Plenty of parking.

Not a great stay

The telephone did not work. I couldn't call front desk. I had to walk down to the front desk. The microwave didn't work The clerk said he would come and fixed it but never did. The first clerk was not responsible. All the later ones were great. There was $100 deposit which was not disclosed until check in. The breakfast was great.

I've stayed here many times since 2011 and never had issues, last time I stayed the tv didn't work (missing cable connections) the time before that the hot tub in my room didn't work, I had a broken knee at the time and was using a walker and was put on the second floor (there's no elevator) staff only offered a partial refund, a hot tub room was available on the first floor the next night and I wanted to stay, they charged me 50.00 (management before them would have not charged)
