First off, I tried to cancel one day in advance due to a vet emergency and they didn’t allow me, which is fine, I know there’s a 48 hour policy, but it was sad they wouldn’t give me a break for the ordeal. The rep for Expedia tried to help me get them to cancel and claimed they were on hold for 7 minutes and hung up on. I reached out to the hotel and the front desk person said “ Just to be clear - the Expedia agent agreed to hold because I was with a guest, but they hung up.” I reached out to Expedia to ask about this and nobody responded. We ended up making the trip work due to the inability to cancel and I called and spoke to the front desk person. I mentioned we’ll have our dog. The following day someone from the hotel asked if we’d have our dog, which I said yes. Regardless of all of this communication, nobody mentioned the extra dog fee. The front desk person even apologized for not mentioning the fee, and said that the person I spoke to should have mentioned it. I asked for the fee to be removed, as after speaking to two people on the phone, this should have been mentioned, but wasn’t. I reached out in email and they said they couldn’t remove it. I asked to speak to the manager and three days later have yet to hear back. Also worth to note that the person above us was stomping around after “quiet hours” (which are very clearly spoken about during guest check in) and kept us up all night and early morning. Overall, I will not return.

We enjoyed our 1 night stay at the PT Inn. They are a no frills, clean and quiet establishment. Friendly, easy check in and check out. Only change that we would prefer would be extra pillows and blankets in the room. We hope to stay again on our next visit to PT.

Location is walkable (and i consider it safe) to downtown shops, uptown eateries, and organic food co-op. Basic room, everything worked including an efficient heating unit. Generally quiet except for creaking footsteps from the room above me.

The beds were horrible, and the door was easily popped open even while locked. I don't think I will stay there again. I will say the front desk guy was super nice and very informative.
