10/10 Exceptional

Our room was very charming, well-appointed and clean. Giuseppe was very helpful, going above and beyond in providing us information about Catania and travel options we needed to get around as well as providing transportation to the airport. We didn’t stay long enough to have breakfast. We would highly recommend this B&B to anyone staying in Catania.

4/10 Fair

The check in was lovely and so was the staff. The room condition was not great. There was some mold in the shower and paint peeling in the bathroom as well. There was a horrible septic smell in the room and the outside of the building was full of graffiti. It was not worth paying for a balcony only to look at a dirty area. The location was decent.

Awesome B&B

Very nice and cosy Hotel 3+ B&B ... good new renovated rooms... perfect helpfull staff - great breakfast ( choose salty not sweet). Tasty fresh coffee as well. Location is great in the middle of Catania - close to very good restaurants and walking distance to all sights etc...

Beautiful property and rooms. Located very close to the city centre and restaurants, literally a 2 minutes walk. Clean and spacious rooms

8/10 Very good

The hotel is charming and beautiful. The outside of the hotel is not charming. There is a small sign outside of the hotel with the name. You arrive on the main floor and there is no lobby. You. have to walk up to flights of stairs to the lobby. There should be a sign in the main floor welcoming you to the hotel. We had no idea where we were going and no information. The main floor does look sketchy. Otherwise, the rooms are beautiful. Outside of the hotel is not very clean. Lots of graffiti and very dirty.

Great experience

The room was excellent. It’s in a great location. The front desk is open from 8 to 20hs only.

The exterior of the building looks more like an apartment building, but once you are inside the door of the hotel area, everything changes. My only complaint is about the outside, as there was a lot of trash out front. Inside everything was clean and the device was very good and well organized. This hotel is very close to a lot of things you can walk to. I recommend staying here.

The staff were absolutely amazing! The room generous and beautiful! Really felt like staying in a beautiful Italian home. Bed super comfy. Water pressure great. Super clean. Giuseppe was outstanding - over and above helping us to get parking and helping us to get our suitcases up the stairs. Great stopover on our way to Noto.

Great location. Great owner. Terrific breakfast ! Have to walk one flight up with heavy suitcases, although the owner's friend helped. There is a strong odder in the bathroom (only draw back). Over all a great place to stay. EJ

Owner and staff were extremely nice and helpful. Both speaking English very well and eager to help. The only downfall to this beautiful property is there is no elevator so factor that in if you have heavy luggage with you. You will need to carry it up 2 long flights of stairs.

I stayed here with my mother in one on their suites. Such a lovely room. The city Catania has quite a bit of graffiti. Don't let that fool you. As a creative I can appreciate the vibe of the city. I noticed a lot of review were about the outside. Anyways, the staff left me a very detailed explanation of how to get into the building and where everything was. They were very punctual in replying back to me. The room was stunning. Breakfast was included in my package. They brought it to our room and we got to decide what time was best. One of the employees organized a tour of Mount Etna for us. The tour was amazing. We ended up quading up Mt Etna and having a tasting tour. Everything was fantastic. I would absolutely recommend staying here for anyone.

Although we didn’t use the room much because it was for one night and we were out all day, check was great. Giuseppe and Clara were very helpful and pleasant. The room had everything we needed and was very neat and clean. It was close to everything. Good location.

Upea aamiainen huoneeseen tuotuna. Ja mikä palvelu! Uskomatonta ystävällisyyttä koko vierailumme ajan. Parempaa paikkaa emme olisi voineet löytää. Se ylitti kaikki odotuksemme.

Never judge a book by its cover!

On arrival at the small hotel we were shocked at the state of the outside, both the building and the road which looked dirty and had rubbish around. The stairwell was also quite shabby. BUT inside the hotel it was beautifully clean with good facilities. The breakfast, which is served in the rooms, was amazing with so much choice and wonderful tasting coffee and fresh orange juice. Giussepe, the manager, was so helpful with any questions we had especially about getting around on the trains and buses. The hotel is near to a few great cafes and restaurants and a short walk to the main eateries further down the road. I would definitely give this hotel 10/10 if it wasn’t for the surrounding area. But to be honest we found that a lot of Catania was dirty with rubbish in the roads. Giuseppe tries very hard to please those staying at the hotel.

We thought this property was amazing. So charming, historical and in a great location with beautiful restaurants close by and the main city a walkable distance. We loved the story of the Palazzo and our hosts were kind enough to deliver breakfast to our room the night before as we had an early flight. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfectly located, walking distance to main street.
Maria, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Is a nice remodel old room but with lot of humidity odor, even the towels (that needs an upgrade were smelling the first day). There is no parking available in the place as we were told and the area feels weird to walk around late at night. We parked 4 block away and paid $25 euros per night 😕 and the only day we left the car in the street we were told to be careful by other tourists for car theft.

It was very central to Catania city to see all the attractions close to the station and airport by car The host was amazing He helped us with everything we needed The pros The rooms are large very nicely decorated beautiful elegant old style with history but all the modern fittings and bathroom are all modern Breakfast is amazing and delivered in the room The only thing is if you are not able to take the stairs may not be the place to stay for you or if you are traveling with very heavy luggage Having said that the owner helped up with our luggage up and down the stairs So we were ok Overall enjoyed it and would highly recommend it

Very nice facilities with updated appointments that are centrally located in the city . We found off street parking convenient.

The room was very spacious and classic. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. However, the location left a lot to be desired, I would not want to go walking outside the building at night. Overall we had a pleasant stay.
