Lovely outdoor spaces and bookable restaurants. Food great and lots of choice. Staff helpful and regularly check in with calls to the room. Room finish could have been a bit better, but overall more than adequate.

We were group of 13 people celebrating my husband's birthday, we had the best time, hotel was very clean, staff for the most part was very friendly, food was good, drinks not so much. I do have to say that for this hotel to be adults only, mosth of the fun activities were at the hotel next door, bar stayed open later on that side though, but overall thank you to the great staff and the hotel for making our stay a time to remember, specially Jayvon who helped me with the planning months before. The staff at the PDR at Hunter restaurant, our waiter who i didn't get the name, but was great on 4/12/25. I feel bad we didn't get the name of the waiters and staff, but Thank you Royalton Hideaway for a great time, we appreciate you!!

I can’t say enough good things about this property! I came for a birthday trip with my friend and had the most unforgettable experience. Every member of staff was extremely friendly and eager to do what they could to ensure an incredible stay. The entirety of the Vibes Team went above and beyond for their job of maintaining a great vibe and really helped make the entire vacation seem like one big fun get together. The drinks are amazing and can only be beat by the wonderful team of bartenders at all of their bars, including the bars of their partner resort, Royalton Blue Waters. The property is kept very well maintained and I was blown away by their team dedicated to collecting the seaweed that had washed ashore to ensure a picture-perfect sandy beach. The excursions we booked were unforgettable experiences like no other, and our off-days by the pool and beach were just as fun and relaxing. There are countless food options available and all of them are delicious. Every single person I met at Hideaway was a true embodiment of Jamaica’s spirit of kindness, excellence, and irie. “Jamaica no problem” couldn’t be more accurate—it has been the best traveling experience of my life, filled with fun, adventure, tranquility, and I cannot wait to book and visit again.

We have stayed at many different Royalton resorts around the world but this one is by far the worst. Housekeeping on multiple occasions attempted to enter our room even with the do not disturb flag on the door. When confronted, had no excuse for ignoring the sign just repeatedly saying do you want your room cleaned. 9pm staff walked into room claiming trying to restock beverages even with the do not disturb sign on door. We felt like they were attempting to enter to have access to our things. The restaurants were always out of menu items. Non of the bars could make a decent espresso martini. The quality of drinks were very poor. Room service took 2 hours one evening. There were roaches in the buffet restaurant. The bathroom in our room smelled like sewage. Shower ran cold after one minute. Kids and small children in many areas of the adults only side. This place lacks the quality of service that the Royalton brand represents at its other properties. We will not be returning.

I am not one who usually complains. However, this resort is the worst I have been to. I've been to 15 different resorts. If you have food allergies, be cautious. I messaged the resort one week before arriving to see if they had a team to help manage my food allergies. They said, "Yes" and requested my email address. I sent email address twice. No response. After I checked in I received a message to talk Customer Service desk team. What a joke! They told me to talk to each chef. Upon arrival, the hostess asked about allergies at most restaurants. I told them every time. Told the server, too. Tried talking to chef at restaurants. Leroy, chef at the evening buffet, was great at walking me through the line. Female chef at Tex Mex restaurant talked with me several times. Was not allowed to talk with chef at steak house, Zen, or Dorado. Servers tried to manage my allergies. Dorado - absolute failure. Female server brought foods I could not eat after telling me they were safe to order. That server was very rude! Stood over a woman at our table who was still eating her salad and said, "If you would finish eating I could bring other food." Woman slid unfinished salad to server. We waited 15 minutes for other food. Talked with Christine, customer service manager, about several things, including food allergies. She was a joke. Customer service at front desk & Prime sales needs help. Expedia customers are to get extra amenities. Received wristband but nobody knew what it meant.
