Price is extremely reasonable and I think the place is great for it. Except… the bathrooms are pretty moldy. I think it’s difficult since there isn’t a lot of ventilation and the showers aren’t sectioned off, so the water gets everywhere in the bathroom. I would have liked to know this before booking.

Great location and super helpful host Jin who went out of her way to ease our trip. The hill leading to the guesthouse is pretty manageable unless you are carrying heavy luggage. The building is older and there are some signs of gentle wear and tear, but Jin made a great effort to make it comfortable, and it provides excellent value given the price, location, and amount of space for our family of 4. I would stay here again on my next trip.

Jin is one of the kindest souls I've ever met. The hostel is clean and there is laundry and simple breakfast. The door is padded, so even though one of the girls in my room kept slamming the door, I didn't find it too loud. I found my stay very lovely and comfortable. 진님, 정말 고맙습니다!

Guest house is about 10-15mins walkable form Hongik station exit 9 but have to make sure u can climb the very steep hill road to reach the guest house. With heavy and big luggage will be more difficult. But the host kind enough to offer pick up at Hongik subway station.

Coffee and simple breakfast foods were provided, as was a cold and hot water dispenser, which is important in a city where it isn't a good idea to drink the tap water. really close to shopping/food/nightlife, though you do have to walk up a small hill. jin offers pickup and dropoff of your luggage from the subway which is convenient! the rooms have ac, and there are multiple bathrooms which is nice. theres also a washer, but no dryer, and a water filter.

Very clean facility. Nice owners. I just wish more detailed signs were provided in English on how to lock the door. The owner told me how when I arrived however I forgot after four days and locked the door incorrectly. I was also not able to find a working air conditioner so it was a bit hot at night. I loved my experience at this guest house—the community is great and the owners are so sweet and thoughtful. Don’t make the same mistake I did, though, and forget to message them; make sure you let them know when you’ll arrive, so that they can help you with your luggage and get you set up inside. Other than that minor hiccup, which was completely my fault, I had a great experience here!
