The stay was fine. We had no hot water in our shower, so that was a bummer. It wasn't fixed adequately when we informed the front desk. They tried I guess. We just used our dad's shower next door.

The room itself was a little dirty and run down. The walls need a good scrubbing. There were also food crumbs on the floor. The furniture was showing some wear as well, one of the bar chairs backs was missing. Disappointing for the rating, but the bedding and towels were clean.

This facilty is located on the southeast side of town, convenient to highways but it actually is within a few minutes driving of everything in Minot. It’s not that far from the airport, downtown, the Amtrack station, the shopping or the new Trinity Hospital complex. Rooms are modern and clean. But no breakfast is available on site.

The atmosphere seems like it is good. Updating in rooms needs tohappen. Our room had garbage in the trash when we entered. The floors/carpets were not cleaned before our stay.

After reading more reviews on the property upon arrival, I will change how I book in the future. I previously only went on rating number, will read more recent reviews, going forward. But our room was spacious, lots of storage and room. The price was good. But the rooms carpet had some stains and trim in bathroom was chewed/clawed by dog of prior guest. The remote didn’t work and front desk said they would look into it. She came 1 1/2 hr later carrying a new tv, but ended up only needing to swap out the remote from another room. Her comment was others had complained about the tv not working. Still understaffed, but she was pleasant and followed through. If working alone, she likely tended to more pressing items. We loved the Kroll’s diner just up the street. Excellent food!!!
