A budget motel with lots of eateries very close. Bed was very comfy, rooms was clean. Bathroom newisly renovated. Its just missing the little comfort items. I guess they figure that you are so close to food all you really need is a kettle, 2 x coffee cups, 2 x glasses. It was a bit noisy on the Friday night from nearby music but it didnt effect sleep. Parking is good, check in was easy with friendly staff

We enjoyed our 4 nights at the Regal, it was quiet and the staff were friendly and helpful. It could improve if it had an escalator or a lift or need to book a ground floor room. But overall excellent.

Very noisy. It’s under the flight path for the airport. We could hear people clearly talking in other rooms and hallway. The fridge ran very loudly throughout the night. It’s 2 storey but there’s no lift. We weren’t told of this on booking. We started with less than a quarter roll of toilet paper. Advised of new roll in lounge cupboard, there was not! Receptionist kept insisting I just sign the check in form, despite there being errors in the information supplied. Location is great for local dining.

I was surprised that I could not pay for my room in cash, and instead had to go to the city to make a deposit. the staff made it clear that they were very happy for me to notify them as soon as the funds were in my account so that they would immediately debit my card. also I was surprised that there was no lift, and my room on the second floor would mean traversing flights of stairs with my luggage, and carrying my infant child up and down.

Loud vending machine or intercom (??) during the night woke me many times ( my ground floor room was very close to reception). Rooms do not seem very sound proof.
