We had the most amazing time! Had dinner at the sister hotel our first night. The food was amazing! Casper made our first night experience at the Toravaig amazing. He was very friendly, funny and accomodating. Highly recommend this quaint little hotel on the beautiful isle of skye!

Amazing stay

The bed was amazingly comfortable, and the pillows were as well. The bathroom was exactly as pictured with the rainfall showerhead and the big bath tub. It was sooo nice to have a bath after hiking all day. Service was prefect, friendly and attentive. We had dinner at the sister restaurant just down the road, i had the chicken he had the lamb and both were so tender... wonderful meals. Highly recommend this hotel and would definitely go back.

Très bel hôtel

Très bel hôtel, dans un joli coin de L’île. Accès direct à la chambre, très pratique avec de grosses valises, très bonne literie, mention spéciale pour la salle de bain, très bien refaite et bien équipée. Personnel serviable et discret. Très bon petit déjeuner.

Beautiful property, spotlessly clean. The staff Laura and all of them are friendly and nothing is too much trouble, the food was lovely. Set in beautiful scenery. A short drive to town for other dining options etc.

Warm welcome, high standard of cleanliness. Staff all helpful.Would stay again but would request a room that is not so near the front entrance as it seemed to be near the heating/boiler which had a continual humming noise.It was still an exceptionally good hotel.

All my review is pertaining the Duisdale hotel which is the sister hotel of Toravaig, as due to their unplanned maintainence we were shifted to Duisdale. The 2 night stay was great and memorable, all staff was helpfull and kind. Special mention goes to Ashnita where she checked us in and was very helpful. Being a hotelier myself i rate her checkin experience was fantastic and further she was present during our breakfast in restaurant as well where again she was fantastic. She is an asset to your hotel and i wish her best for future. Overall the hotel features best and i would surely come back and recommend to others. Thank you !

Ich habe kürzlich eine Nacht in diesem Hotel verbracht und für einen kurzen Aufenthalt war es vollkommen in Ordnung. Besonders positiv aufgefallen ist mir die Kaffeemaschine im Zimmer – der Kaffee war wirklich gut und es war ein nettes Extra, das den Aufenthalt gemütlicher gemacht hat. Auch das Personal verdient ein großes Lob: Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ein paar Dinge haben mir jedoch nicht ganz so gut gefallen. Das Frühstück war recht schlicht, es wurde nur ein nationales Frühstück mit sehr begrenzter Auswahl angeboten. Wer eine große Auswahl an Speisen sucht, wird hier eher enttäuscht. Zudem ist die Lage des Hotels recht abgeschieden; es gibt in der Nähe praktisch nichts zu sehen oder zu unternehmen. Wenn man ins Restaurant möchte, muss man außerdem den Shuttle zu einem anderen Hotel nehmen – was für einen längeren Aufenthalt etwas umständlich sein könnte. Alles in allem ist das Hotel für eine Nacht okay, aber für längere Aufenthalte würde ich persönlich eher ein anderes Hotel empfehlen.

The room was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. Coffee, tea, and sweet snacks were provided. The desk clerk was very friendly. Dinner at Duisdale was scrumptious. Our only issue was that nobody told us we needed to leave our room key at the desk whenever we left, which resulted in our room not being cleaned, towels replaced, etc. Just be aware of that issue. Otherwise we were very happy with our stay at Toravaig.
