The house was very beautiful, well equipped, clean. Close to Niagara Falls and all the attractions. We enjoyed staying there!

Beware of this property! Beware of Red Awning. There is nothing "charming" about the neighborhood. The "stroll" to Niagara Falls is more of an "if you dare" because the neighborhood is full of condemned buildings and vagrants. The "smoke free" property wreaked of cigarette smoke covered by air freshener. Some windows either have broken glass or didn't lock. No central A/C. Bathroom didn't even have a soap dish in the shower and a 1/2 used roll of TP was left for us. The oak cabinets that are boasted about in the description were filthy inside, no handles to open them. Hardly a selling point for anyone looking to enjoy the kitchen. Brought our dog but didn't dare let him in the backyard because of the broken glass everywhere. To sit on and enjoy the porch would have meant bringing a chair of your own or sitting on the floor. The first night of our stay we witnessed a house fire caused by kids shooting fireworks off well after the 10PM quiet time listed in property description. Our kids were terrified to fall asleep for days. Day one I called RedAwning for help but got none. Day 4 I called and got the same rep and she asked if we had spoken to the owner. Maddening bc she didn't mention this on our first call. We felt like hostages because we had nowhere else to go.
