Breakfast was awful. Everything dried out and the beans and tomatoes were mush. Coffee lukewarm. Very disappointed. The bacon was so hard and dry,it was unbeatable. Location was very good. Staff not so. I dont think I'll return.

Hotel location is excellent for city centre, parking conveniently 3 mins walk (£22 for 24hrs). Hotel staff friendly & welcoming, room was massive, clean & has everything you need, stayed on 11th floor overlooking the city. Only 2 minor gripes, there are no usb or plug sockets near the bed and the hotel bar had just recently reopened but was poorly stocked. Will definitely be staying again

Staff are lovely and friendly and the hotel is very clean. It's located 10 mins walk from the station in a good central area where there are plenty of bars, restaurants and things to do. We were initially given a room which looked out of the back of the hotel at a concrete wall but when I asked to change to a room with more light and a more pleasant outlook the staff were fab and more than happy to oblige. The room we were given instead had a great view over the city and loads of light and its well worth asking for this when you book. Great checkout time of 12noon today (Sunday). The website did say this hotel has parking but you do need to phone and book this in advance as its limited. We parked in nearby Princes St car park which was 28 pounds for 24 hours and is a 5 min walk away. We would recommend a lovely traditional Italian restaurant nearby callled Giuseppes. Its on the steps up to St Nicholas' Market and was delicious and great value. Also theres a great coffee bar next to the hotel called Fika which again has lovely staff, great coffee, cool decor and it does super tasty breakfast baps as well as sandwiches and cakes. A super stay.

The room is large but not usefully so. There are no plug sockets beside the bed in the room I was in so you had to get out of bed to turn your alarm off if like me your phone needs constant charging. The TV was a disappointment. No smart TV services (despite the buttons in the remote). Fortunately the WiFi was fast enough to stream on the tablet. No casting available. The bathroom was a similar situation. The combined depth of the large square sink and the cabinet covering the toilet cistern made shaving difficult and there was no pullout shaving mirror. Breakfast too was a disappointment. Scrambled eggs, plum tomatoes, sliced mushrooms, sausage and bacon was all there was on hot counter. You get more for less at the budget hotels.

The room was very clean, and very spacious for a standard room, bed was extremely comfy. The breakfast was very good, the bar was a bit limited but the barman was very apologetic and helpful. Great location and although in the centre of the city was very quiet…being 13 floors up might have had something to do with it ! Great views though. Will definitely use again.

Relatively good hotel. Only issue was I booked 2 superior rooms with a harbour view. When we arrived they did not really accommodate the booking. We had a room on the top floor which had a private terrace and a harbour view but my friends who I booked the same style room did not get harbour view or appear to get the same treatment as us. A little disappointing especially when I booked 2 of the same rooms at the point of booking.
